Arnold Schwarzenegger Tells Americans to ‘Come Together’ and Support Trump

Former Republican California Governor and Hollywood star Arnold Schwarzenegger has been entertaining the American public for decades.

While in the past he has outraged conservatives for pushing a climate change agenda, Schwarzenegger recently came to the defense of President-elect Donald J. Trump in a major way.

Although the former California governor was not a supporter of Trump during the 2016 campaign, Schwarzenegger said he had no problem working with the president-elect, telling NBC “Now he’s elected, and now it is very important that we all support the president, and that we all come together and we stop whining and it becomes one nation.”

While liberals continue to deny that Trump actually won the election, Schwarzenegger has some strong words of advice for all Americans: we need to come together.

Schwarzenegger made his comments during a promotional interview as the new host of NBC’s “The Apprentice” which Trump used to host for many years. The new host was asked by NBC’s Matt Lauer whether or not there would be any conflict of interest with Trump remaining an executive producer on the show while serving as president but Schwarzenegger dismissed the concern:

I think it’s perfectly fine that he has executive producer credit because he created the show with Mark Burnett together, so why should his credit go? He made it very clear that he has no interest in being involved. It is now my show, I’m the host, I’m the new boss and I’m going to run this show.

The former governor even said Trump helped get him the NBC gig and joked that the negotiations had to do with one of Trump’s biggest campaign promises: “He was part of the negotiations, so I get millions of dollars for hosting the show, but NBC doesn’t have to pay for it — Trump makes Mexico pay for it! I mean, isn’t that great?”

Schwarzenegger joked that like Trump he will have his own catch phrase on the show, but instead of “You’re fired!” it could be “You’re terminated,” or “Hasta la vista, baby,” or “Hit the road,” or “Consider this a divorce,” or “Get to the chopper,”
