AOC Smears Justice Brett Kavanaugh With Claims He Was ‘Credibly’ Accused Of Sexual Assault

AOC, in criticism of the Supreme Court hearing arguments about a Mississippi abortion law, claimed Justice Brett Kavanaugh was "credibly" accused of sexual assault.

Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC), in criticism of the Supreme Court hearing arguments about a Mississippi abortion law, claimed Justice Brett Kavanaugh was “credibly” accused of sexual assault.

“Reminder that Brett Kavanaugh *still* remains credibly accused of sexual assault on multiple accounts [with] corroborated details [and] this year the FBI admitted it never fully investigated,” she tweeted.

“Yet the court is letting him decide on whether to legalize forced birth in the US,” Ocasio-Cortez added. “No recusal.”

The Supreme Court earlier this week heard arguments over a Mississippi pro-life law, a case that has implications for two longstanding precedents, Roe v. Wade and Planned Parenthood v. Casey.

AOC Smears Kavanaugh By Dredging Up Sexual Assault Allegations

Zachary Faria, a Commentary Fellow with the Washington Examiner writes, “This is a lie today as much as it was in 2018.”

“Ocasio-Cortez may have the political ideology of a college sophomore, but she is not dumb,” Faria points out. “She knows repeating falsehoods can help her cause.”

A Senate Judiciary report from 2018 which investigated the sexual misconduct allegations against Kavanaugh showed there was “no evidence” to support any of the claims that were made against him – including the testimony of Christine Blasey Ford.

A Committee report states that they conducted “an extensive investigation that included the thorough review of all potentially credible evidence submitted and interviews of more than 40 individuals with information relating to the allegations.”

“Committee investigators found no witness who could provide any verifiable evidence to support any of the allegations brought against Justice Kavanaugh,” the report concluded.

“Her assertions are wrong,” writes Fox News contributor Guy Benson. “Kavanaugh is not credibly accused of sexual assault by anyone. There are zero corroborated details.”

Benson adds that the “FBI, beyond its multiple rounds of background checks … did in fact look into the most high-profile of the totally-uncorroborated-to-debunked accusations leveled against him during his confirmation process.”

Marjorie Taylor Greene Responds

Republican Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (GA) hammered AOC for spreading lies about sexual assault allegations against Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

“I attended Kavanaugh’s hearing when he was being confirmed,” Greene tweeted. “The paid organized leftist groups had women outside and were cycling them through to sit in. They would plan their fits and screams to make it look like a real outrage.”

She went on to suggest the coordinated Democrat smear was “fake, just like his accusers.”

Greene pointed to comments by Linda Sarsour who once urged followers to conduct a “jihad” against President Trump.

“All of these women are alike. They hate President Trump and they hate men,” she tweeted “They lie and play victim to get their way. To them it’s Jihad.”

Ocasio-Cortez has previously called on Kavanaugh to be impeached, based partly on a New York Times report in 2019 that brought forth a new allegation of sexual misconduct.

Unfortunately for AOC, the Times updated their report to indicate “the unnamed female reportedly did not recall the event.”

Earlier this year, during a lengthy Instagram Live video, AOC tearfully revealed that she is a survivor of sexual assault.

“I’m a survivor of sexual assault, I haven’t told many people that in my life,” said AOC. “As a survivor, I struggle with the idea of being believed.”

Spreading lies about Kavanaugh isn’t going to bolster her credibility any time soon.
