AOC Gets In A Battle Of Wits With Elon Musk And It Ends Very Badly: ‘She’s Just Not That Smart’

AOC got herself into a battle of wits with Elon Musk and it didn't go well for her. "She's just not that smart," Musk explained.

Does anyone recall that famous scene from The Princess Bride in which Vizzini gets tricked into a battle of wits with Westley and it ends very badly for him?

That scene essentially played out on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, with Elon Musk playing the role of Westley, and our dear, sweet Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (Socialist-NY) playing the role of Vizzini.

It all began with Ocasio-Cortez using the “boy math” meme to mock House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) over the looming federal government shutdown.

“Boy math is needing 15 attempts to count the votes correctly to become Speaker and then shutting down the government 9 months later,” she wrote on Musk’s site.

There is so much stupid involved in those comments that it’d take scholars decades to decipher what point Ocasio-Cortez thinks she made. Suffice it to say, we’re pretty sure she thought any joke using numbers would work in a meme involving math, even if it made no sense whatsoever.

Enter Babylon Bee writer Ashley St. Claire, who countered Ocasio-Cortez with a “girl math” post and a clip of the New York congresswoman inexplicably comparing illegal immigrants being bussed to New York City today to those who legally went through Ellis Island in the late 19th and early 20th Century.

Musk replied to St. Claire saying of AOC, “She’s just not that smart.”

AOC Tries to Fight Back Against Musk

The battle of wits gets so, so much better after that.

Rather than simply letting things be, Ocasio-Cortez found herself drawn to Musk’s comment and decided that she was going to fight back.

“I wasn’t born rich and became the youngest woman in American history to be elected to Congress,” AOC countered. “Then I investigated Cohen, authored the largest FEMA funeral assistance program in history and led creation of a US Climate Corps to create tens of thousands of new jobs.”

“Stay mad,” she added.

You can practically hear her now: “Have you ever heard of Plato, Aristotle, Socrates? Morons!”

The X CEO fired back repeatedly early this morning.

He began by posting a rolling-on-the-floor laughing emoji to a comment referencing when Ocasio-Cortez accused Musk of censoring her on X, all while dining on some lip-smacking good chicken nuggets.

Musk then responded to Ocasio-Cortez’s attempt to prove how smart she is and telling him to “stay mad.”

“I take it back – you’re obviously a genius,” he quipped.

No, wait. It gets even better.

Musk took aim at the socialist darling’s boast about creating the “largest FEMA funeral assistance program.”

“First, please allow me to congratulate you on these epic achievements,” he said. “However, have you considered, rather than ‘funeral assistance’, that FEMA focus its funding on preventing funerals in the first place?”

Hello? 911? We’d like to report an online murder.

Incidentally, an Inspector General report recently revealed that the program Ocasio-Cortez is bragging about spent $24.4 million on ineligible expenses, was rife with fraud and mismanagement, and paid multiple claimants twice for the same funeral.

She’s Just Not That Smart

Tensions between Musk and Ocasio-Cortez have been palpable for quite some time. They grew ever more contentious earlier this week, when the “not that smart” congresswoman claimed that she couldn’t trade in her Tesla Model 3 because there was no vaccine over the past year or two.

Narrator: There definitely was a vaccine and some boosters.

News of her first claim of wanting to get rid of her Tesla came after she and Musk engaged in a humorous back and forth on X.

The Democrat posted last year about an “explosion of hate crimes … happening [because] some billionaire with an ego problem unilaterally controls a massive communication platform.”

Musk trolled her rather effectively, responding, “Stop hitting on me, I’m really shy.”

Look, we could rehash the many, many times Ocasio-Cortez has proven Musk correct about her intelligence, or lack thereof.

We could point out the time she got into an online spat with a parody account and claimed that she and her crack staff of cybersleuths were “assessing” how to censor them.

We could point out that time she claimed the world “will end in 12 years” due to global warming, which, using “girl math,” means that we only have 8 years left.

We could even harken back to one of her first national interviews, where she admitted to having no knowledge of the issues.

But we’d be going down an endless rabbit hole of examples in which Ocasio-Cortez embarrassed herself as an intellectual lightweight.
