Another Trump Win: Massive Chinese Company Announces 1 Million New Jobs to the US

During the 2016 presidential campaign, President-elect Donald Trump vowed that America will experience “so much winning if I get elected, that you may get sick of winning.”

Well, the winning just keeps on coming! The executive chairman of e-commerce giant Alibaba met with Trump to discuss the Chinese company’s future plans.

When all was said and done, Alibaba agreed to bring one million small US businesses onto its platform, meaning a job created for each company.

My math isn’t what it used to be, but it sounds like one job per every company with one million companies equals … One million jobs!

Score another victory for America …

Via CNBC:

President-elect Donald Trump said he had a “great meeting” with Alibaba executive chairman Jack Ma on Monday, when they discussed 1 million new U.S. jobs.

Ma said that Alibaba’s expansion would focus on products like garments, wine and fruits, with a special focus on trade between the American midwest and southeast Asia.

“We’re focused on small business,” Ma told reporters. “We specifically talked about … supporting 1 million small businesses, especially in the Midwest of America. Small businesses on the platform selling products — agriculture products and America services — to China and Asia, because we’re pretty big in Asia.”

Ma explained that the businesses most in need of taking advantage of their platform are in midwestern states, or “flyover country,” as the Democrats refer to them.

Farmers and small clothing makers for example, could tap the Chinese market directly through Alibaba.

Ma expressed a deep appreciation for Trump’s business acumen, referring to the President-elect as “smart” and “open-minded.”

Two attributes which are paying off in spades for US businesses and employees alike.

The President-elect was correct in his assessment that our nation would do a whole lot of winning if he is chosen to be the next leader. We just didn’t expect to do so much of it before he even takes office in January!
