Andrew Pollack Delivers Incredible Speech During White House Listening Session on Guns

Andrew Pollack

Andrew Pollack, the father who lost his daughter in the Parkland, Florida, high school shooting and was subjected to mockery for wearing a Trump 2020 t-shirt, delivered a jaw-dropping speech at the White House Wednesday.

Pollack’s daughter, Meadow, was one of 17 students killed in the rampage last week. His speech will bring you to tears as any parent can relate to the anger he is experiencing right now.

His gut-wrenching story began shortly after the shooting when Pollack frantically searched for his daughter only to find out “she’s gone.”

“I’m here because my daughter has no voice,” Pollack began. “She was murdered last week, and she was taken from us, shot nine times on the third floor. We as a country failed our children. This shouldn’t happen.”

“All these school shootings, it doesn’t make sense,” he continued. “Fix it. Should have been one school shooting and we should have fixed it. And I’m pissed. Because my daughter I’m not going to see again.”

“She’s in North Lauderdale at … King David Cemetery. That is where I go to see my kid now.”

Still, Pollack said the focus should solely be on school safety and not gun control.

“If we all work together and come up with the right idea — school safety,” he said. “It is not about gun laws. That is another fight, another battle. Let’s fix the schools and then you guys can battle it out whatever you want.”

“We need our children safe.”

Pollack then urged both sides to stop politicizing, stop pontificating about any other matter, until the schools in America are safe again.

“Let’s get together, work with the president and fix the schools,” he insisted. “That’s it. No other discussions.”

God bless this man and his family. It’s impossible to understand what he’s going through, but it’s a powerful thing to hear him tell his story.
