Judge Napolitano Predicts No Bombshells in Comey’s Testimony

Judge Andrew Napolitano is an expert in his field. He is a solid contributor to Fox News and can be trusted.

Napolitano says forget what you knew about the former FBI Director James Comey, what you will see on Thursday is not someone who will be making judgments or legal conclusions, he’s going to state what he heard, said, saw and thought. A huge departure from what we’ve seen during investigative hearings Comey has been a part of.

On “Fox & Friends” this morning, Judge Andrew Napolitano explained why he expects this will be unlike previous testimonies and statements we’ve seen from Comey.

“You’re going to see a different Jim Comey,” Napolitano said. “You’re going to see a chastened, fact-centered witness, not an FBI director lecturing the country and the committee on the laws.”

Napolitano said that Comey will not be making judgments or legal conclusions, instead stating what he heard, what he said, what he saw and what he thought.

He added he’s surprised that special counsel Robert Mueller, who is conducting an independent investigation into the Trump campaign and Russia, is allowing Comey to testify before the committee.

“The last thing in the world a prosecutor wants from one of his witnesses is to have the witness testify in another forum where the prosecutor isn’t even going to be present,” Napolitano said. “That’s what’s going to happen tomorrow.”

On the subject of Russia, Trump made a reasonable request to ask the FBI Director to lift the cloud of doubt on the President. Since Comey told Trump he was not the subject of investigation, you could argue that to withhold that simple truth was adequate reason to fire the Director. If the intent was to shadow the President with a false assumption, then Comey is at fault

Watch the interview below:

There is no evidence at all of collusion between President Trump and the Russians. Even political hacks/proven liars like James Clapper admit that. Yet the mainstream media is selling the vast Russian conspiracy story to attract and placate the sad eyeballs that want to see President Trump’s agenda thwarted.

No matter what is said Thursday by James Comey the MSM will market it as more evidence of misdeeds by President Trump in their ongoing false narrative. All of that is great fun unless one considers that the world is a little bit on fire right now with lethal threats from Radical Islamic terror and an unpredictable nuclear power in N. Korea.

America would best be served by a truthful media and both parties working in the interest of the United States. Sadly that is not the case.
