Alec Baldwin Exposed After Lie About Melania Trump

First Lady Melania Trump is now accusing someone of “fake news.”

Alec Baldwin alleged on “The Brian Lehrer Show” that Melania loves his impression of Donald Trump on SNL. Here’s what he said: “This is a scoop I have for you, and I saved this for you, Brian Lehrer. Someone told me, who is friends with someone in the White House, or formerly in the White House, that Melania Trump loves ‘SNL’ and she loves my impersonation. He claimed that the first lady told a top official, ‘That’s exactly what he’s like.'”

He was on the show to promote his new book “You Can’t Spell America Without Me: The Really Tremendous Inside Story of My Fantastic First Year as President Donald J. Trump (A So-Called Parody),” so perhaps he saw the alleged statement from Melania as the ultimate endorsement. Unfortunately for him, she’s disputing the claim.

According to the Washington Times, “Stephanie Grisham, the office of the first lady’s director of communications, said the claim isn’t true. ‘That is not true, which is why Mr. Baldwin has no actual names to go with his bizarre assertion,’ she told Newsweek.”

“Time to retire the boring and unfunny show. Alec Baldwin portrayal stinks!” Trump tweeted in October 2016 in response to the show’s skit about the second presidential debate. Two months later, Trump had more to say about his allegedly unfunny doppelganger. Taking another another hit at SNL in December, Trump ruled the show “unwatchable” and tweeted Baldwin’s impression couldn’t “get any worse.”

One can only speculate as to how Baldwin “learned” of Melania’s non-existent adoration. Most likely, he simply made it up because it’s the kind of claim that creates headlines – and it did.

Meanwhile, some more sinister headlines could be coming out next.

Rose McGowan, one of Harvey Weinstein’s accusers, blasted Baldwin on Sunday, tweeting out “wee little baby man had a widdle baby tantrum cos he wants to protect rapists. You’re sooo liberal, you scum bucket” in response to an article reporting on comments Baldwin had made about the Weinstein sex scandal.

In the article, Baldwin said McGowan “took a payment of $100,000 and settled her case with him [Weinstein]. It was for Rose McGowan to prosecute that case.” He later said McGowan “delayed justice” by doing so.

McGowan shot back:

Well, it’ll be interesting to see where this goes…
