AFL-CIO head Richard Trumka is the latest person to leave President Trump’s Council on Manufacturing, following the resignations of three other CEOs.
I think this is nonsense. Trumka isn’t about supporting workers – his objective has always been to support his own ideological enterprises. Trumka receives compensation and indulgences from the same lobbying entities who manipulate political policy in Washington, D.C.
That reality is why Trumka supported ObamaCare when it was against the interests of his actual middle-class union membership. And now he’s decided to leave Trump’s Manufacturing Council and did it publicly so it would look like he was leaving Trump high and dry.

This is yet another well coordinated effort to bring Trump down. Let them go, I say. Someday they will eat their words and regret their decisions.
Trumka is not a business executive – he is a union thug! And who the hell cares who “steps down” from the Manufacturing Council? There will be more willing and able participants to take their place.

That reality is also why Trumka endorsed Hillary Clinton over Bernie Sanders, even though he fully understood that Clinton was in support of the Trans-Pacific-Partnership trade deal; and again TPP is against the interests of his union membership.
