Murdered DNC Staffer Was In Contact With WikiLeaks

**Update 5/23/17

Fox 5 DC has since updated their initial story, noting that private investigator Rod Wheeler has since contradicted and backtracked on his original claims.**

A private investigator for the family of Seth Rich says there is verifiable evidence that the murdered DNC staffer was in touch with WikiLeaks prior to his death.

The Political Insider previously covered WikiLeaks’ Julian Assange hinting that Rich may have been the source of the DNC email leaks of the 2016 election.

The explosive revelation puts a crimp in the liberal media’s Russian “hacking” conspiracy theory, and according to Fox 5 in Washington DC, could lend proof to “conspiracy theories (that) have tied the murder to Rich’s work at the DNC.”

Police investigations have claimed Rich was killed during a botched robbery, though little evidence has surfaced to support that theory.

Now, a private investigator says the murder may have been far more nefarious.

Via Fox 5:

It has been almost a year since Democratic National Committee staffer Seth Rich was murdered in the nation’s capital. There have been no solid answers about why he was killed until now.

Rich was shot and killed last July in Northwest D.C and police have suggested the killing in the District’s Bloomingdale neighborhood was a botched robbery. However, online conspiracy theories have tied the murder to Rich’s work at the DNC.

Just two months shy of the one-year anniversary of Rich’s death, FOX 5 has learned there is new information that could prove these theorists right.

Rod Wheeler, a private investigator hired by the Rich family, suggests there is tangible evidence on Rich’s laptop that confirms he was communicating with WikiLeaks prior to his death.

Wheeler believes there is a cover-up with one source telling him investigators have been ordered to “stand down” and refuse to share information.

“The police department nor the FBI have been forthcoming,” he said. “They haven’t been cooperating at all.”

When asked flat-out if there is evidence to show Rich was in communication with WikiLeaks prior to his death, Wheeler said, “Absolutely. Yeah. That’s confirmed.”

Founder of WikiLeaks, Julian Assange, raised eyebrows when he offered a $20,000 reward for information leading to Rich’s killer.

Former British Ambassador and WikiLeaks operative Craig Murray claimed to have met the person who leaked DNC and Clinton campaign emails, saying the source was actually a disgruntled DNC worker.

Could Rich have been that disgruntled worker?

Do you think Rich was murdered because of a botched robbery, or because of his links to the DNC? Share your thoughts below.
