Jeff Sessions Will Review Concerns of Clinton Plutonium Deal With Putin

You know, for all the Russia hysteria from Democrats, it is ironic given their position on the matter back in 2012.

Mitt Romney referred to Russia as America’s number #1 geopolitical foe, prompting Obama to inform Romney that “the Cold War is over.” The Democrat Party’s official Twitter piled on, poking fun at Romney for not living in the 21st century.

Yet today, they seem to be on board with Romney’s past comments. Hillary Clinton referred to alleged election interference from the Russians as “cyber 9/11.” No word yet on what was going through her mind when she thought her losing an election was comparable to 9/11.

And speaking of Russian interference, when it’s to their benefit, Democrats are happier to cover it up like Hollywood liberals covering up for Harvey Weinstein’s perverted hijinks. As we reported earlier today, “the Obama administration was well aware that the Russians used bribery, kickbacks, and extortion to get a stake in the U.S. atomic energy industry, but still approved the 2010 deal giving Moscow control of one-fifth of America’s uranium. And not only did the Obama administration know about the crimes – they actively covered them up.”

Russian collusion with Democrats? Say it ain’t so!

And because we apparently live in The Twilight Zone, would you believe that the Clintons were involved? Federal officials learned that Russian nuclear officials had sent millions of dollars to the Clinton Foundation at the same time that former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton sat on a committee that OK’d the relevant deals.

Hillary wasn’t comparing the Russians to al-Qaeda when they were giving her money.

Alas, such blatant corruption should make you glad we didn’t elect Hillary… but a bit frustrated that Trump didn’t yet follow through on a certain campaign promise. As you’ll remember from the second presidential debate, Hillary remarked ““It’s just awfully good that someone with the temperament of Donald Trump is not in charge of the law in our country,” to which Trump casually replied, “because you’d be in jail.”

Funny stuff – and it could be a reality, but that’s in the hands of Attorney General Jeff Sessions, according to the Washington Free Beacon. During today’s testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee, Sessions was asked about the Russia revelation. He declined to “confirm or deny whether or not the Justice Department is investigating if Russian payments to the Clintons improperly influenced a decision by the Obama administration to approve a Russian takeover of a U.S. uranium mine.”

Sessions was responding to a question from Chairman Chuck Grassley concerning reports of possible collusion. Here’s more of Sessions’s response: “Mr. Chairman, we will hear your concerns. The Department of Justice will take such actions as is appropriate.”

Then Sessions said that Grassley’s concerns “will be reviewed.”

We’ll see what the review turns up. President Trump has attacked Sessions in the past for not going hard enough on Hillary.

The reports of the Obama Administration declining to prevent Russian bribes for plutonium stinks to high heaven. Let’s hope AG Sessions holds the Clintons accountable for any possible crimes.
