Rand Paul’s Injuries At Hands of Registered Democrat Worse Than Initially Thought

WASHINGTON, DC - OCTOBER 12: Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) speaks during a press conference regarding the executive order President Donald Trump signed earlier on Thursday, on Capitol Hill, October 12, 2017 in Washington, DC. The executive order is intended for small businesses, and potentially individuals to be able to band together to get insurance in smaller groups, possibly across state lines. Senator Rand Paul was physically assaulted by his neighbor over the weekend, blindsided while he was out mowing his lawn.

Neighbors indicate that Rene Boucher, a 59-year-old fellow doctor, had an ongoing dispute regarding his and Paul’s adjacent properties.

Slate reported that Paul only suffered a “minor injury” and genuinely seemed perplexed about the assailant being detained.

“Boucher was still detained at Warren County’s jail on Saturday on a $5,000 bond,” they wrote.

The injuries sustained however, are clearly worse than were originally reported. Paul suffered five broken ribs, lung contusions, and injuries that could lead to other problems such as internal bleeding or pneumonia.

Boucher was arrested and charged with one count of fourth degree assault. Other details are emerging about the man behind the attack. You might be surprised to learn he is a registered Democrat. Or maybe you won’t be surprised at all …

“He was active on social media and said some negative things about the Republican agenda,” one neighbor revealed. “I think it was unfortunate that they lived so close together.”

Yes, because people need to be segregated now based on political leanings. Or maybe it shouldn’t be too much to ask that far-left zealots stop attacking Republican lawmakers.

One neighbor, Jim Bullington, a former member of the city commission, told the Washington Post that Boucher is a devout socialist.

“He’s pretty much the opposite of Rand Paul in every way,” Bullington said.

The Post also reports that Boucher and Paul have engaged in “heated discussions” about health care in the past.

Senator Paul expressed gratitude for all of the well-wishes he and his wife have received since the attack.

The assault on Paul comes just five months after Republicans were targeted and shot on a softball field in Alexandria, Virginia.

Rather than tone down the rhetoric, one Democrat called for colleagues to continue ‘hunting Republicans.’

Now we have a congressman out mowing his lawn having to fear for his safety. Can you imagine if this Boucher fella was a Trump supporter who tackled Chuck Schumer while he was mowing his lawn? The President would be heckled to denounce them repeatedly. So who on the left is going to denounce Boucher for his actions?
