This Touching Chick-Fil-A Move Will Make Liberal Heads Explode!

A gentle giant of a police officer was killed on duty, looking for a man who shot and killed a Orlando police officer. His name was Norm Lewis and he was a cop that was very popular and touched many lives.

Norm was a former college football player in the state of Florida and had been working with the police department since 2005.

Lewis was killed earlier this week in a motorcycle crash and the news hit the community hard, especially a Chick-Fil-A fast-food established he frequented twice a week. They were so shocked at his death, they decided to take action.

From FaithIt:

Norm especially left a lasting impression on the employees at a Chick-fil-A location in Orlando.

For many years, the deputy visited the same restaurant once or twice a week. When he was working he’d eat lunch in his uniform, and when he was off-duty, he’d often stop in for a bite and chat with the employees.

On January 9, Norm was tragically killed in a motorcycle crash.

He was helping with a manhunt to find the gunman, now identified as Markeith Loyd, who is believed to have fatally shot and killed Master Sgt. Debra Clayton of the Orlando Police Department.

Norm’s death was heartbreaking to those in his community, including the Chick-fil-A employees who had formed close relationships with him over the years.

“I turned on the TV, and I couldn’t believe it. I just started bawling,” said Beth Ivey, one of the restaurant’s employees who had gotten to know Norm well during his weekly visits. “I can’t believe I won’t see him ever again.”

United in their grief, the restaurant’s employees decided to honor their friend and fallen deputy in a special way.

Recalling the trademark 12-nugget meal that the deputy always ordered, they made a “Missing Man Table” with a place-setting of the Chick-fil-A special tailored just for him.

This is one of those stories that leaves you wishing it didn’t happen. Lewis was so beloved and to the dropping of this article, the shooter is still eluding police in the area. We send prayers to Lewis’ family and friends they get past this and we applaud Chick-Fil-A for their tribute to this fallen officer.

Share this article on your Facebook and Twitter timeline and let your friends know how great Chick-Fil-A is with their dedication to a law enforcement officer.
