Illegal Immigrant Claims She Pays Taxes – But That’s Not the Whole Story

Ever think that paying $400 in taxes entitles you to welfare, free college, free healthcare, and a whole host of other goodies? If your answer was yes, you might be an illegal alien. I refrain from using the term “undocumented,” because the only reason one would be an undocumented immigrant is if they’re in the country illegally. (Why can’t liberals figure that out?)

You’d think it was an April Fools joke, but it was posted a few days prior to April 1. A woman named Belen Sisa is aiming to dispel the “myth” that illegal immigrants don’t pay taxes (how could they when they don’t have Social Security numbers?) by posting a photo of herself to social media with a 1040 form, claiming that she paid $300 in taxes to the state of Arizona. Or, as many of you readers call it, a week’s worth of taxes.

Here’s her post below – and yes, 7,000 people actually shared this.

Speaking of the 1% “stealing” from us, the top 1% pay roughly half of all federal taxes, despite earning “only” 20% of all income. That’s a massive income share, but the point is that they’re paying wildly out of proportion to the share of national income they earn – while the bottom 60% pays less than 2% of taxes.

But it’s great that she thought the $300 she paid in taxes somehow invalidated the $38 million we know Trump paid in a single year.

To no one’s surprise, this little Einstein is an assistant organizer at Progressive Democrats for America, which certainly explains her naive understanding of basic economics. And her misunderstanding of economics extends to taxes, as she’s holding a blank federal tax form (1040 is a federal form), which she wouldn’t be holding if she was paying tax to the State of Arizona like she claims. I kindly reached out to her on Twitter to clarify this, and was immediately blocked.
