CT Governor Defying Trump on Immigration Law, And This Angel Mom is Furious

Connecticut Governor Dannel Malloy is urging his state to defy President Trump on federal immigration laws, and one angel mom is furious over it.

Malloy issued a memo to state and education officials in his state, telling them they do not have to abide by federal immigration law or cooperate with ICE officials when it comes to dealing with dangerous criminal illegal immigrants.

The governor told Tucker Carlson earlier this week that “The president can’t order [the state] to do federal work.”

Wendy Hartling, whose daughter Casey Chadwick was stabbed to death by one of the illegal immigrants Malloy is okay with letting roam free, is rightfully p***ed off.

“We tragically lost our children to criminal illegal aliens that should have been deported or should still be deported,” she said.

“It’s very upsetting,” before adding that Malloy is “just wrong” for defending illegals over American citizens.

“It hurts me, and it will hurt a lot of people,” Hartling said, referring to other “Angels Moms” and “Angel Dads.”

“We tragically lost our children to criminal illegal aliens that should have been deported or should still be deported,” she said.

Hartling, who is active with The Remembrance Project, said officials in Connecticut have failed to follow through on their promises to protect citizens from criminal illegal immigrants.

“It’s very upsetting, because they know what’s going on,” she said.

She added that Malloy’s decision to defy the federal government and endanger U.S. citizens is “just wrong.”

Hartling strongly supports President Trump’s efforts to enforce immigration laws.

“It’s the ones that are over here illegally, they commit crimes and then they don’t get deported back they get returned right onto our streets, that is what Donald Trump wants to stop, that’s what our Remembrance Group is always fighting for,” Hartling told Fox 61.

“If ICE and the federal government did what they promised, the laws that they have in place, they are there and they don’t work and she (her daughter) should still be here.”
