Conservative businessman Donald J. Trump has been leading the Republican presidential primary for almost a year, and so much of what he’s done is historic. America has never had a candidate run for President like him before.
But now, Trump is about to set the record for receiving the most primary voters of any Republican to run for President in modern history! The New York Post shows Trump has recieved more than 10.1 million votes, which is already 200,000 above what Mitt Romney recieved before winning the nomination.
If you didn’t think the primary was rigged… Then you’re not paying attention to this massive record Trump just broke! Incredible….
And with the primaries ahead — including in populous states such as California, New Jersey and Indiana — the former “Apprentice” reality TV star should easily break the modern record of 10.8 million held by George W. Bush in 2000, according to blogger Eric Ostermeier, a political science professor at the University of Minnesota.
In an election cycle with a high Republican turnout, his numbers are rising, even more so now that there’s only three candidates” left in the GOP race, he said.
The reasons include a combination of Trump’s celebrity, media exposure and higher-than-usual interest in his over-the-top candidacy, Ostermeier said.
The numbers-crunching blogger uses figures compiled by Congressional Quarterly that differ from those compiled by other groups, some of which say Bush got as many as 12 million votes in the 2000 primaries.
But even if that were the case, Trump would still likely shatter the record.

The last record was set in 2000 by George W. Bush, who received 10.8 million votes… That is a record Trump will easily beat. And many of the upcoming primaries look favorable to Team Trump, especially after 5 massive wins on Tuesday of this week.
