No matter your view on the seriousness of a Donald Trump presidential run, the man brings an element to the table that you don’t get with most candidates – straight honesty.
Never has this been more evident than when Trump took a shot at ABC’s George Stephanopolous during a recent interview in which he chided the ‘journalist’ for his ties to the Clintons.
Via NewsBusters:
George Stephanopoulos’s sketchy connections to the Clintons were thrown back in his face on Wednesday. The Good Morning America co-anchor interviewed presidential candidate Donald Trump. During a lightning round on Trump’s thoughts about Republicans, Stephanopoulos brought up Hillary Clinton.
The real estate businessman began by calling Clinton’s e-mail controversy “scandalous.” Trump paused, remembering who he was talking to. The candidate derided, “Of course, you shouldn’t be talking to me about that, in all fairness. You shouldn’t be asking me those questions, but I don’t mind.”

Classic Trump, and a well-deserved shot at the man who secretly donated $75,000 to the Clinton Foundation, then proceeded to cover for and interview Bill and Hillary while posing as an objective journalist. The zinger was so good, you could see Trump fighting back laughter as he was saying it.
Trump added that what Hillary did with her personal e-mail servers was “totally illegal.”
“I don’t know how she gets away with it,” he added.
What do you think about Trump’s candidacy? Does he serve as anything more than a sideshow, or will the straight-talk earn him more votes than you’d expect?
