In an extremely awkward interview, Charlamagne Tha God, co-host of the radio show “The Breakfast Club,” slammed Elizabeth Warren for claiming Native American ancestry, dubbing her “the original Rachel Dolezal.”
It’s been well-documented that Warren furthered her career by claiming minority status, listing herself as a minority law teacher for nearly a decade in the ’80s and ’90s.
It wasn’t until December of 2018 that the Massachusetts Senator finally admitted: “I’m not a person of color.”
Sen. Elizabeth Warren backtracks, now says she’s not “a person of color.”

While the mainstream media has let Warren slide on this, it’s pretty clear that there are some people unwilling to turn a blind eye to her egregious, decades-long attempt at cultural appropriation.

Enter Charlamagne Tha God for this super uncomfortable interview …
“How long did you hold onto that, because there were some reports that said you were Native American on your Texas bar license and that said you were Native American on some documents when you were a professor at Harvard,” the host pressed. “Why’d you do that?”
Mr. Tha God was referencing a registration form for the State Bar of Texas, in which Warren described herself as “American Indian.”
Rep. Liz Cheney: “[Elizabeth Warren] said she was a Native American on her application for membership in at least one state bar association. One wonders was whether or not that’s grounds for disbarment… I’d say it probably is grounds for disbarment.” https://t.co/MyGVCU6UTt pic.twitter.com/N6lqF0TBc8

“When did you find out you weren’t?” the host continued to challenge.
“Well, I’m not a person of color. I’m not a citizen of a tribe, and tribal citizenship is an important distinction and not something I am,” Warren replied.”
The Original Dolezal
“You’re kind of like the original Rachel Dolezal, a little bit,” Charlamagne quipped.
Dolezal is a former NAACP leader who shot to infamy after it was discovered she was a white woman pretending to be black.
Warren simply continued to insist that her ancestry was something that her family claimed throughout the years.
The 2020 presidential candidate has been the frequent target of mockery by President Trump over this very issue, even earning the nickname ‘Pocahontas.’
