U.S. Postal Service Employees Broke Law Supporting Hillary Clinton

When Democrats aren’t importing foreign ringers to boost their voting rolls, they’re using government employees to do the same.

The Office of Special Counsel just released a report suggesting that the U.S. Postal Service union broke the law by having employees do work on behalf of the Clinton campaign in 2016. Normally, federal employees are allowed to engage in political activism while on leave. But the union that governs USPS employees showed a bias toward Clinton during last year’s heated campaign.

From Fox News:

The OSC determined the USPS “engaged in systemic violations” of the Hatch Act, a federal law that limits certain political activities of federal employees. While employees are allowed to do some political work on leave, the report said the Postal Service showed a “bias” favoring the union’s 2016 campaign operation.

The investigation was launched months ago after Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Chairman Ron Johnson, R-Wis., brought constituent complaints to the OSC in October. The constituent, identified as a USPS employee, was concerned the Postal Service “incurred unnecessary overtime costs” and “improperly coordinated” with the National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC) when it released members for several weeks of “union official” leave without pay to participate in campaign work.

It only makes sense that postal workers by and large supported Hillary Clinton, and used taxpayer dollars while doing so! Most days, I’m lucky to get my mail delivered. And the USPS is perpetually in a state of bankruptcy, constantly begging Congress for more money. So of course postal employees supported the money-wasting loser known as Hillary Clinton for president!

In all seriousness, this instance shows the complete lack of regard many federal employees have for the taxpayers who foot the bill for their salaries. When government employees use tax dollars to promote a political candidate, they undermine our very democracy.

The USPS union should be held accountable for violating the Hatch Act. I think some pink slips are in order.
