USPS Worker Arrested En Route To Canada
On Election Day, Wilson was stopped by United States Customs and Border Patrol agents.
He was arrested on the Peace Bridge that connects Buffalo to Canada.
When investigators went through the 813 pieces of mail found in Wilson’s trunk, they found three absentee ballots that were intended for voters in Erie County.
Also included were over 100 political mailers, 220 first class mailings, and 484 standard mailings.
Wilson claimed the mail belonged to him and his mother, but according to court paperwork, “could not account for additional names printed on the mail pieces.”
Wilson said he forgot the mail was in his trunk.
Brandon Wilson is charged with the federal offense of delay or destruction of mail.
U.S. Attorney Insists They Are Ensuring A ‘Free And Fair Election’
The Department of Justice issued a press release about the incident.
“This Office is committed not only to ensuring the integrity of the mails but also of individuals’ rights to vote in a free and fair election,” said U.S. Attorney James P. Kennedy, Jr. after Wilson was arrested and charged.
“The criminal conduct with which this defendant is alleged to have engaged, undermined both of those interests,” Kennedy added.

How Often Does This Happen?
A quick Google search will bring up as many instances of mail theft as you care to read.
As the results of the 2020 presidential election continue to unfold, how does one ignore incidents like these?
To be certain, there are no allegations that any of these incidents are part of any plot to disrupt the election.
But many Americans are skeptical of the mail service.
The mainstream media holds the official position that the mail is safe.
Yet, every kid in America learns at an early age to take special care when using the mail.
How many people learn to never send cash through the mail, for fear it could be lost or stolen?
That seems prudent advice still in 2020.
