Presidential hopeful Tulsi Gabbard responded to comments made by Hillary Clinton regarding rival Bernie Sanders, telling her it’s time to grow up.
In an upcoming Hulu documentary on her career, Mrs. Clinton refused to say she’d support Sanders if he got the nomination, denounced his supporters as misogynists, and said of the Vermont senator, “nobody likes him.”
While she walked back the support for him as a nominee aspect of the comments, Clinton has made no effort to dispel the notion that Sanders is widely disliked.
Gabbard, whom the former First Lady smeared with a wild conspiracy theory that she was a Russian asset, took a shot at Clinton’s childish comments.
“It’s time to grow up, you know? This isn’t high school,” she told a television station in New Hampshire.
“We’re talking about real challenges that our country needs to address and the need for real leadership to focus on them – not on what’s going on in Washington and the schoolyard cliques or whatever else it may be.”

Yang, Other Democrats Hit Hillary
Another presidential hopeful, Andrew Yang, and a host of other Democrat supporters also took a few swipes at Hillary.
“For her to come back and, you know, say that nobody likes Bernie does not seem like a very helpful message, Yang told CBS News.
Peter Daou, a past adviser to Clinton, chimed in with a column denouncing her comments about Bernie’s supporters.
The two-time presidential loser had railed against the “Bernie Bros,” noting their online attacks directed at his competitors were particularly venomous towards women.
Daou called Clinton’s comments “profoundly wrong” adding they “reflect(s) placed priorities on the part of the Clinton camp and an unfortunate willingness to amplify destructive myths about Sanders and his supporters.”
Gabbard’s assessment that she is simply a petulant child is spot on. Clinton is still bitter at Bernie for not withdrawing from the 2016 primary early on and, in her mind, costing her the general election.

Bad Blood
Gabbard and Clinton have had some particularly bad blood between them, initiated by the former’s suggestion that the latter may run third-party, helping President Trump win re-election by siding with the Russians.
“She is a favorite of the Russians,” Clinton said of Gabbard. “They have a bunch of sites and bots and other ways of supporting her so far. That’s assuming Jill Stein will give it up, which she might not because she is also a Russian asset.”

Gabbard would later respond suggesting Clinton’s accusations were not made by “a normal person.”
We’re not dealing with a normal person here. We’re dealing with somebody so psychologically scarred from losing to Donald Trump that she lashes out at everyone she feels is responsible, or who might be responsible for his second term.
We’re dealing with a petulant child.
