Tucker Carlson Set To Air Interview With Larry Sinclair, Career Con Artist Who Claims He Had Sex With Obama
Tucker Carlson is ginning up old controversies, as he plans to air an interview with Larry Sinclair, a convicted con artist who made wild claims that he smoked crack and had sex with the former President Barack Obama.
The interview is set to air Wednesday evening at 6 p.m. on X, the social media platform previously known as Twitter.
Sinclair’s claims are supported by no evidence – Politico reported on his lengthy rap sheet back in 2008 and said, “His story has generally been ignored by the mainstream media because he’s been unable to substantiate his allegations.”
It should also be noted he has a long criminal history, including arrests for fraud and forgery.
Still, Carlson refused to pass up an opportunity to hear his story.
“A man who claims he had sex with Barack Obama in 1999 tells his story,” he wrote on X, alongside a one-minute clip of highlights from the interview.

Sinclair Claims He Had Sex With Obama
In the aforementioned clip, Sinclair claims he met Obama at a Chicago bar back in November 1999, and that the pair did drugs and later had sex.
“You had sex with him twice, you did cocaine with him, [and] watched him smoke crack twice, you had no idea who he was?” Carlson asks in the video.
“I had no idea,” Sinclair replied.
It’s not often that Carlson is worthy of criticism, but the airing of this interview, in the absence of new proof, seems unwise. Sinclair has never been able to authenticate his claims and is a career liar – why are we supposed to believe him now?
Sinclair first aired his claims during the 2008 election, according to the Daily Mail, “including at a press conference that ended in his arrest on an outstanding larceny warrant.”
As we await Tucker’s interview with Larry Sinclair, here’s what Larry told me about his relationship with Obama. It’s a story about sex, lies and murder. Larry has some fascinating corroborating details. Watch and decide if you believe him! https://t.co/Ck5bSItybP

Obama’s History Of Drug Use
Carlson appears to be furthering claims often given fuel only on the most fringe regions of the internet, but he seems to believe Sinclair’s story.
Speaking to comedian Adam Carolla last week, Carlson told the podcast host, “In 2008, it became really clear that Barack Obama had been having sex with men and smoking crack.”
Obama has admitted to cocaine use in his biography, “Dreams From My Father,” and in one video interview, admitted to heavy drinking and drug use.
Obama on his adolescent years in a rare video of a 2001 interview:
-“I was a thug,” a “mischievous child”
-“I got into fights.”
-“I drank and did–and consumed substances that weren’t always legal.”

The Sinclair allegations appear to be rehashed as a response to explosive revelations brought forth by a letter Obama wrote to an ex-girlfriend back in 1982.
“In regard to homosexuality, I must say that I believe this is an attempt to remove oneself from the present, a refusal perhaps to perpetuate the endless farce of earthly life,” a 21-year-old Obama wrote in the letter obtained by the New York Post. “You see, I make love to men daily, but in the imagination.”
Are Sinclair’s allegations also exclusively in the imagination?
They seem to be.
I do not like this. Former President Obama is not in politics anymore, he has a wife and kids.
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.
I have heard Larry Sinclair’s story before. He has no evidence.
The same people who believe this would not believe it if someone… https://t.co/aYs36kTmTl

Obama has made it clear that he will play a role in the upcoming election, so he is game for criticism, unlike a president who perhaps retreats from public life.
That said, Carlson needs to either provide some level of proof supporting the allegations, or dump Sinclair’s interview altogether, as his own credibility may be at stake.
