Tucker Carlson Rips Into Bolton, Compares Him to Snake from Trump’s Parable

Tucker Carlson ripped into John Bolton, the “disgraced” former National Security Advisor to the President, on his show, comparing him to a snake.

“Because I’m a Snake”

On Sunday, the New York Times reported that John Bolton’s new book contains sections that will help the Democrats in their quest to impeach the President. In his book,  Bolton claims that the president did in fact delay military aid to Ukraine in order to pressure them to investigate Joe Biden and his son Hunter’s business dealings in the country. Carlson was not impressed with Bolton.

Carlson started his segment on Monday by recalling the parable that President Trump used to tell on the campaign trail in 2016, about a woman who rescued a dying snake and nursed it back to health.

“The snake did become healthy, and then immediately whipped around and bit the woman,” he said. “As she breathed her last breaths, the woman asked the snake, ‘why did you do this?’ ‘Because I’m a snake,’ was the reply. ‘That’s what we do.'”

Carlson likened the story to that of the “disgraced former National Security Advisor,” John Bolton.

“Republicans in Washington seem shocked that Bolton has turned around and betrayed his former boss, Donald Trump, but they shouldn’t be shocked,” he argued. “That’s who John Bolton is. That’s who John Bolton has always been. That’s what John Bolton does.”

“Bolton Wanted War with Iran”

The question some may ask is, if Bolton hated Trump so much, why did he join his administration? Carlson had a simple answer for that.

“Bolton wanted war with Iran. He’s always wanted war with Iran. He’s obsessed with it,” he said. Back in 2017, Bolton told a conference that “the declared policy of the United States of America should be the overthrow of the mullah’s regime in Tehran.”

Carlson said Bolton wanted wars all across the globe, in Syria, Afghanistan, and even Venezuela, “until your grandchildren will be too old to serve.” Carlson said that Bolton’s “genuine” and “passionate” love of war maybe came from the fact he never served in the military himself, and the Fox News host was thankful that President Trump “blocked him at the brink” of starting another war.

“Bolton finally left in well-deserved humiliation,” he said. “Bolton’s resignation was one of the highlights of the president’s first term, a day of celebration for normal people everywhere.”

“The Opposite of Conservative”

Carlson noted that the media were sad to see Bolton go because they love war, and could claim him as the “conservative’s conservative” that hated the President. Carlson strongly disagreed with this take.

“The many conflicts he’s pushing are not conservative, they’re just the opposite of conservative. They’re a big part of the reason our middle class is dying. Counter-productive wars are not a vice in Washington,” he explained.

As to whether Bolton will testify against the President, “either way, it won’t change the outcome,” Carlson said.

“Trump will be acquitted. This is a totally stupid sideshow. We’ll be embarrassed about it later,” he said. “But it’s worth taking this moment to pause and think about John Bolton himself for a moment anyway. How’d a guy who disagrees so completely with everything that Donald Trump ran on, and won on, how did that guy wind up in a position of power in the White House? Good question. Because he’s not the only one.”

I completely agree with Carlson. Bolton never liked the President, and just wanted to push the agenda that suited him and his cronies in the military-industrial complex and the deep state. He’s upset that President Trump stopped him from spilling the blood of thousands of Americans on foreign soil, and now he’s trying to hit back. If the President is re-elected for a second term, warmongerers like Bolton shouldn’t be allowed anywhere near him.
