In West Hollywood, the mayor has announced that the city council passed a unanimous resolution, asking for President Donald J. Trump’s star should be removed from the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
As media reports suggest, the vote is largely symbolic as the city was asking the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce and the Los Angeles City Council to take action. But their interest in removing Trump’s star is serious.
As West Hollywood, Mayor John Duran announced on Twitter, “West Hollywood City council unanimously passes a resolution asking the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce to remove the Donald Trump star on Hollywood Walk of Fame.”
According to Duran, the vote wasn’t in response to Trump’s conservative politics. Instead, it was focused on “the abuse of women, minorities, immigrants, the disabled … you’ve crossed a line of decency.”
Trump earned the star in 2007 after the success of The Apprentice on NBC. The star has been frequently vandalized by anti-Trump activists, including recently with a pickaxe.
It’s unclear if the star will be removed forever. The Hollywood Historic Trust has given conflicting reports, noting that after the recent smashing of the star, the plan on repairing it. Hollywood Chamber of Commerce CEO Leron Gubler also noted that all starts are part of the fixed landmark on Hollywood Boulevard.
If the star was ever actually removed, it would immediately be controversial, especially if you consider what other sidewalk stars would remain. There has been no decision made on the removal of Bill Cosby’s star, even though countless women have accused him of sexual misconduct and rape from the past half-century.

You can try to take his star but that makes no difference to the cause of keeping America safe and great again! The left has lost it's cause, struggling for something that will make them relevant again and the great idea is Socialism.
