President Trump is telling conservative allies that he plans to address the rising radical pro-abortion stance of Democrats by incorporating firm pro-life language into his State of the Union address.
The President is seizing on the fact that Americans have been widely turned off by extremist lawmakers in New York and Virginia who have advocated for abortion up to the moment of birth or even after.
“The president wants to reaffirm his commitment to pro-life things,” one Republican close to the White House told Politico, though they cautioned that Trump doesn’t plan on delivering a speech that will be “all fire and brimstone.”
Though he’s not expected to call out New York Governor Andrew Cuomo and Virginia Governor Ralph Northam by name, the President is almost forced to address the fact that both have promoted what amounts to infanticide in their respective states.
New York and Virginia Extremists
President Trump has to address abortion because of how far left the Democrats have moved on the topic.
Cuomo, for instance, celebrated his state’s new abortion legislation that allows termination of the baby up until the moment of birth, for reasons as arbitrary as the future mental health of the mother.
He described the law as “a giant step forward in the hard-fought battle to ensure a woman’s right to make her own decisions about her own personal health” and a “historic victory for New Yorkers.”
Cuomo went so far as to celebrate the future deaths by lighting up monuments in New York in the color pink.
Northam really dialed up the crazy a notch or two during a radio interview, explaining new legislation that would allow abortions up to birth, then describing that they could actually be considered after birth.

Americans need to be reminded of these statements. They need to be reminded that Democrats simply want the baby to be made comfortable for a little bit until the doctor can execute the abortion. What kind of nation do we live in that this is a consideration?

Clinton dismissed Trump’s comments as “scare rhetoric.”

Trump also called Northam out on social media, saying the Virginia abortion legislation was “the most horrible statement.”
The President has been consistent with his view on abortion since he became a candidate, though many conservatives were trepidatious over his pro-life credentials. He had made statements to the contrary in the past but had evolved on the matter.
“We all have a duty to defend the most basic and fundamental human right — the right to life,” he wrote in a letter to pro-life supporters this past summer. “As President, I am dedicated to protecting the lives of every American including the unborn.”
Somebody has to, because it surely won’t be the resistance party.
So I heard that a full term baby will be made “comfortable” while the doctor and parents discuss the options. Why not let the parents take the baby home and “try it out”? You can always have the discussion later if you don’t like it. Yes! This is a stupid idea!!! Someone told me the only good thing out of this is that it will be the Liberals that will be taking advantage of it. How can these people ignore how disgusting this is?
Whatever happened to “abortion will be legal and rare” if we agree to abortion? Now it is “A woman’s right to her own body”. Sorry, whomen who believe that idea have be to be made to understand that while they have a right to their own body, once there is another life than theirs in their bodies they have given up that right. Then there is ALSO another person who has a right to his or her own body. Perhaps we need a “fetal protection act” that would allow the unborn to have an advocate to protect his or her right to live before an abortion can be performed.
I expect the majority of unplanned pregnancies occur among young people and they need counceling to understand the enormity of what an abortion does to everyone concerned. Our young people need to know that they may have to live the rest of their lives with regret that they had aborted a human being to be. I know a number of women who had abortions and have lived with guilt once they have had time to mature and regret the decision they made when they were in what they thought was an unimaginable situation to get out of. One thing our young people need to be told is that if they have an abortion they will live with that decision for the rest of their lives, and sometimes those thoughts will be devastating to their menatal health. We also have to take into consideration the number of young people who are coersed into having abortions by their families and (perhaps) friends. They will be the ones who possibly will most likely to take their own lives or live with terrible guilt.
