President Donald Trump’s personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani said him and the rest of Trump’s legal team will decide if the president should sit down with special counsel Robert Mueller within the next 10 days.

Giuliani said the decision would be made “in the next week to 10 days” in a Thursday interview with Politico. The former New York City mayor said Trump will make the decision with his legal team, based on the questions Mueller intends to ask Trump, saying the two sides are working on a set of questions in which they both would agree is fair.

However, Giuliani made it clear that Trump and his legal team do not want to be asked any questions regarding obstruction in the 2016 presidential election. Echoing a similar comment made to the press earlier Thursday, telling Mueller to “put up or shut up.” (RELATED: Giuliani To Mueller: ‘Put Up Or Shut Up’)

“We don’t want questioning on obstruction. They would have to concede that,” Giuliani said. “It depends on how much they want his testimony on the other (topic).”

Trump left the White House Thursday night for Bedminster, N.J., where he is planning on staying until August 13.
