Trump Says If He Met Biden In A Boxing Ring, He'd Knock Him Out In ‘Seconds’

Former President Donald Trump is set to announce boxing legend Evander Holyfield’s comeback match this weekend – and the pugilistic President gifted America with another one of his classic statements.

Trump was asked who he would fight if he could fight anyone – and he said he would beat President Joe Biden in “seconds” in the boxing ring if such a match ever occurred.

Funny enough, it’s not the first time Trump expressed that sentiment.

Trump made his comments during a call in to a press conference ahead of Saturday’s fight between former heavyweight champion Evander Holyfield and former UFC light heavyweight champion Vitor Belfort.

Trump: ‘But If I Had To Box Somebody, I Think Probably My Easiest Fight Would Be Joe Biden’

Trump was asked, “If you had to box somebody on Saturday night, who would it be and what would the fight look like?”

“Well, if I had to pick somebody in the world, not only a professional boxer — because I’ll take a pass on the professional boxers, that could be a very dangerous subject,” Trump replied.

“But if I had to box somebody, I think probably my easiest fight would be Joe Biden, because I think he’d go down very, very quickly,” Trump said. “Very, very quickly.”

Trump added, “You know, he once said, ‘Oh, I’d like to take him behind the bar.”

The former Republican president was referencing Biden’s 2016 comment that he would like to take Trump “behind the gym.”

“He’d be in big trouble if he ever did,” Trump declared. “No, I think Biden would go down within the first few seconds.”

When Trump made his comments about boxing Biden, it drew laughter and applause from the fighters and audience present during the press conference.

Not The First Time

In 2018, the feeble Biden put on his best tough guy routine.

Speaking of the infamous Access Hollywood tape, in which Trump made crude statements about women, Biden said he would “beat the hell out him.”

“They asked me would I like to debate this gentleman, and I said no. I said, ‘If we were in high school, I’d take him behind the gym and beat the hell out of him,” Biden proclaimed.

In one of his most memorable and now infamous Tweets, Trump fired back.

“Crazy Joe Biden is trying to act like a tough guy. Actually, he is weak, both mentally and physically, and yet he threatens me, for the second time, with physical assault.

“He doesn’t know me, but he would go down fast and hard, crying all the way. Don’t threaten people Joe!”

Trump And Holyfield Are Close Friends

Trump and his son, Donald Trump Jr., are going to help commentate the “gamecast” part of the pay-per-view event on Saturday night.

Trump said on Thursday that Holyfield was a longtime friend and was “one of the reasons” he agreed to take part in the event.

“I tell you what, I have been close to Evander,” Trump said. “I’ve been with him during some incredible times in his career and I’ve seen him enter a little bit of a bad time, but he came out of it.”

“He’s a great guy and he’s a great, great fighter,” Trump added.
