Teacher Has Students Bash Trump Pinata in Spanish Class

This teacher was apparently showing his or her students what a ‘burro’ is.

Students and teachers at Laguna Hills High School in California – shocker! – were filmed whacking a piñata made in the likeness of President Donald Trump during Spanish class.

The district is now investigating the incident.

Video of those taking a stick to the presidential piñata made its way to various social media accounts, and the incident is now under investigation.

What educational value is being derived from having kids hit a Trump effigy during class time? And what low level of intelligence is required for teachers and staff to encourage this?

I’m old enough to remember when simply using target maps led to violent mass shootings. But bashing Trump with a stick is cool.

Laguna Hills high is now under investigation for the ridiculous display.

“This activity was not condoned, or approved, by the district, nor Laguna Hills High School,” district spokesperson Mark Perez said.

We’re glad to see the school district is treating this incident with the level of seriousness it deserves. Imagine for a moment had this been a piñata of former President Barack Obama.

Hey, acting out violent fantasies and bashing public figures is copacetic – so long as those being bashed are Republicans.

Anybody remember this gem, where kids were exploited, using foul language and a Trump piñata?

Then, of course, there was a group at the University of Central Florida who urged children to take their own shot at the President, with some gleefully asking if they too can “kill Donald Trump.”

And in May of last year, another Spanish teacher in Colorado was placed on leave for having her students hit a Trump piñata to celebrate Cinco de Mayo.

If it was Obama, all of these teachers would be fired and the students expelled.
