President Donald Trump has once again outmaneuvered Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer, as they want to strike a deal to keep coronavirus payments going.
Democrats Have Been Blocking Coronavirus Relief
Democrats have been blocking the implementation of the fourth coronavirus stimulus package in recent weeks, demanding more and more unreasonable things from the Republicans. Senator Schumer had called these proposals simply “political stunts,” ensuring payments would not get to the Americans that needed it.
White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany said last week that this “should tell you exactly where Democrats stand – against hard-working Americans who lost their job through no fault of their own.”
“Rather than coming towards us with a clean extension of unemployment insurance, they are moving beyond what their initial request was of $3 trillion, then they moved to $3.4 trillion. They wanted $100 billion for schools, and we offered $105 billion, to which they rejected,” McEnany continued.

President Trump Wins Again!
However, it looks like the Democrats, including Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer, have bowed down to the wishes of the Trump administration and the Republicans. President Trump signed a number of executive actions over the weekend to provide coronavirus relief regardless of what the Democrats were doing, and it seems this has got the Democrats to back down!
“So now Schumer and Pelosi want to meet to make a deal,” the President tweeteed on Monday. “Amazing how it all works, isn’t it. Where have they been for the last 4 weeks when they were ‘hardliners,’ and only wanted BAILOUT MONEY for Democrat run states and cities that are failing badly? They know my phone number!”

This just shows the difference between President Trump and former Republican presidents. When faced with the actions of the left and their ridiculous demands, he stands firm, instead of kow-towing to them! This strong leadership is exactly what we need, especially during this pandemic.
