Trump Is Winning HUGE With This One Voting Bloc

Military Times poll
Of course we all know that America’s armed service members and veterans tend to be conservative. How could you not be when the left actively despises you and tries to discredit your every move? Accordingly, a new survey from the Military Times finds GOP nominee Donald Trump up 54-25 percent against Hillary Clinton among active duty troops. Unfortunately, 21 percent say they will not vote at all if that is the final match up in November.

In a new survey of American military personnel, Donald Trump emerged as active-duty service members’ preference to become the next U.S. president, topping Hillary Clinton by more than a 2-to-1 margin. However, in the latest Military Times election survey, more than one in five troops said they’d rather not vote in November if they have to choose between just those two candidates.

But given only those choices, 21 percent of the service members surveyed said they would abstain from voting. More than 54 percent of the 951 troops Military Times surveyed said they would vote for Trump, the presumed Republican presidential nominee, over Clinton, the Democratic front-runner. Only about 25 percent said they would vote for Clinton in that matchup.

Interestingly, Trump’s numbers go down if his opponent is Bernie Sanders: the numbers change to 51 percent for Trump, 38 percent for Sanders and 11 percent won’t vote – but it’s still a clear majority for Trump.

While these leads might seem impressive, Trump actually has the lowest numbers from Military Times surveys of the last 4 presidential cycles. The troops put Gov. Mitt Romney ahead of Obama 66-26 percent in 2012. In 2008, veteran Sen. John McCain was up 68-23 percent to Obama. But highest of all was President George W. Bush who bested traitor John Kerry a whopping 73-18 percent in 2004.

A huge thank you to our troops for all their sacrifices and without whom we wouldn’t have our right to vote! I hope some day soon we elect the kind of commander-in-chief they deserve!
