Trump Destroys Biden At Rally: America Being Led By a Guy Who Takes Orders From the Easter Bunny

Donald Trump slammed President Biden in a speech, mocking him for his cognitive abilities and suggesting America is being led by a man who has to be guided by people in Easter Bunny costumes.

In what can only be described as a classic own, Donald Trump slammed President Biden during his latest rally, mocking the President’s cognitive abilities and the recent episode at the White House where Biden was redirected by the White House Easter Bunny while being questioned by reporters.

The incident, seen in video below, was widely mocked online:

Trump made the comments in a speech at an Ohio rally on Saturday to support his chosen candidate for the state’s contentious U.S. Senate race, J.D. Vance.

Vance came to prominence as the author of Hillbilly Elegywhich was also made into an award-winning film.

In his comments, the former President referenced several viral moments involving Biden of late which have called into question his fitness as leader of the free world.

“We’ve never had anything like this and we have a president right now sadly, who has absolutely no idea what the hell is happening,” Trump said.

“Our country’s going to hell,” he continued. “He’s shaking hands with the air. He’s walking around somewhat bewildered — I’d say it’s no good — and taking orders from the Easter Bunny.”

Biden and the Easter Bunny

Trump’s reference to President Biden and the Easter Bunny is a callback to last week when a staffer dressed in full costume whisked the Commander-in-Chief away as he began answering reporter questions during the traditional White House Easter Egg Roll.

“The Easter Bunny was a political operative,” Trump told the crowd. “He did a good job, that guy. We should hire that guy.”

The bunny was actually a woman, reportedly turning out to be White House Director of Message Planning Meghan Hays.

The other Trump comment regarding Biden shaking hands appears to be referencing a new trend in which the President turns to the crowd after a speech and puts his hand out in a gesture most would deduce was an attempt at a handshake.

We say ‘most’ people’ because fact-checkers have informed us that no, despite the criticism involving what he appears to be doing, President Biden wasn’t actually shaking hands with the air.

Trump’s Questionable Endorsement

When not ribbing President Biden about being ordered around by the Easter Bunny, Trump was praising his endorsed candidate in current populist firebrand J.D. Vance.

Trump’s praise of Vance seems to center around the Republican’s odds of winning the seat.

“I studied this very closely,” he told the crowd of supporters. “I like a lot of the other people in the race. I liked them a lot. But we have to pick the one that’s going to win. This guy is tough as hell. He’s going win.”

Some have questioned Trump’s decision, however, especially considering comments have surfaced in which Vance openly fretted in 2016 that Trump was either “a cynical a**hole” or “America’s Hitler.”

“I go back and forth between thinking Trump is a cynical a**hole like Nixon who wouldn’t be that bad (and might even prove useful) or that he’s America’s Hitler,” Vance said in a message to former roommate and current Georgia Representative, Democrat Josh McLaurin.

In his speech, Trump acknowledged that Vance had “said some bad s*** about me.”

Still, he justified his endorsement by saying just about everybody at one point or another has not taken kindly to him.

“He’s a guy that said some bad s*** about me, he did,” Trump said. “But, you know what? Every one of the others did also.”

“[In] fact, if I went by that standard, I don’t think I would have ever endorsed anybody in the country,” he surmised.

Harsh, but fair.
