Former President Donald Trump spoke out on Wednesday to celebrate after House Republicans ousted Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) from Republican leadership.
Trump Attacks Cheney
“Liz Cheney is a bitter, horrible human being,” Trump said in a statement, according to Yahoo News. “She has no personality or anything good having to do with politics or our country. She is a talking point for Democrats, whether that means the border, the gas lines, inflation, or destroying our economy.”
Not stopping there, Trump made reference to Cheney’s father, former Vice President Dick Cheney.
“She is a warmonger whose family stupidly pushed us into the never-ending Middle East Disaster, draining our wealth and depleting our great military, the worst decision in our country’s history,” Trump concluded. “I look forward to soon watching her as a paid contributor on CNN or MSDNC!”

Trump Had Urged Republicans To Remove Cheney
Trump had urged Republicans to remove Cheney earlier in the day.
“The Republicans in the House of Representatives have a great opportunity today to rid themselves of a poor leader, a major Democrat talking point, a warmonger, and a person with absolutely no personality or heart,” Trump said.
“As a representative of the Great State of Wyoming, Liz Cheney is bad for our Country and bad for herself. Almost everyone in the Republican Party, including 90% of Wyoming, looks forward to her ouster—and that includes me!” he added.

Cheney Blasts Trump
This came after Cheney took to the House floor to blast Trump on Tuesday night.
“I will not sit back and watch in silence while others lead our party down a path that abandons the rule of law and joins the former president’s crusade to undermine our democracy,” she said, according to CBS News.
After she was ousted, Cheney also attacked Trump.
“I rise to discuss freedom and our constitutional duty to protect it,” she said. “We have a threat America has never seen before. A former president who provoked a violent attack on this Capitol in an effort to steal the election has resumed his aggressive effort to convince Americans that the election was stolen from him.”
