In an interview on Fox Business Network Thursday, President Trump called the unmasking of General Michael Flynn “the greatest political crime in the history of our country” and demanded jail time for those involved.
Flynn was identified collaterally from intercepts of a phone call with former Russian ambassador Sergey Kislyak and under FISA rules was guaranteed identity protection.
His name, however, was leaked to the media, disclosure of which is “a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison.”
A list of numerous Obama operatives who requested the unmasking of the former national security adviser was published Wednesday.
The list included names such as then-Vice President Joe Biden, former CIA Director John Brennan, and U.S. ambassador to the United Nations under Barack Obama, Samantha Power.
Power requested the unmasking seven times despite testifying under oath that she could not recall doing so.

Trump Irate
Speaking with Fox News host Maria Bartiromo, President Trump refused to hold back on those in Obama’s inner circle who took part in the unmasking of General Flynn.
“It was the greatest political crime in the history of our country,” Trump insisted. “If I were a Democrat instead of a Republican, I think everybody would have been in jail a long time ago, and I’m talking with 50-year sentences.”
“It is a disgrace what’s happened. This is the greatest political scam, hoax in the history of our country,” he continued.

Calls For Jail Time
The President expanded on the thought that, had the political tables been turned, many people involved in this “political crime” would be spending time in prison.
“People should be going to jail for this stuff and hopefully, a lot of people are going to have to pay,” he said. “I’ll tell you, Gen. Flynn and others are heroes, heroes, because what’s happened to them.”
Trump explained they weren’t even after General Flynn, they wanted to get to him.
“They wanted him [Flynn] to lie about me. Make up a story,” he stated.

Trump later added, “If I were a Senator or Congressman, the first person I would call to testify about the biggest political crime and scandal in the history of the USA, by FAR, is former President Obama. He knew EVERYTHING. Do it @LindseyGrahamSC, just do it. No more Mr. Nice Guy. No more talk!”

Ironic, isn’t it, that Obama had the audacity to suggest the charges against Flynn being dropped are a demonstration that the “rule of law is at risk” under the Trump Justice Department.
‘Rule of law’ was a concept completely abandoned under Barack Obama.
Imagine spending your life in service to this great country as General Flynn did, serving with honor and distinction, only to have your entire life and reputation ruined by a community organizer and his minions.
