Man Kicked Out of Disneyland for Holding Up a ‘Trump 2020’ Sign on Ride

A man was kicked out of Disneyland on Wednesday when he unfurled a pro-Donald Trump flag on one of the rides, a violation of the theme park’s rules.

The Disneyland website states that the park prohibits “the usage of any flag, banner or sign for commercial purposes, or to incite a crowd.” The man who committed the trespass violation, Dion Cini, did not appear to be punished because of his politics or the message on the flag, but simply for breaking Disneyland’s rules. What most might consider standard procedure.

Cini displayed his flag on Disneyland’s Mark Twain Riverboat. Holding it off the side of the boat, it read “Re-elect Trump 2020,” and “Keep America Great.”

Violating Disneyland’s code of conduct is nothing new for Cini. In September, he displayed a “Trump 2020” sign at the Magic Kingdom in Disney World, and in November displayed a “Trump 2020” sign on Splash Mountain and a “Keep America Great” sign on Expedition Everest. The 49-year-old Cini did the same thing a month later, leading to him being permanently banned from all Walt Disney World properties.

He appeared to brag about it on Facebook.

“Guerilla Marketeer”

“This person has been previously warned, and we have taken appropriate steps to address his behavior,” a Disneyland official told USA Today. As of now police in Anaheim, California, aren’t taking any action regarding Cini’s violation of Disney’s rules.

“It is a Disney issue, not a police issue,” Anaheim Police Department Sergeant Daron Wyatt told USA Today. “APD’s only involvement was to standby with security while they issued a trespass admonishment. The subject was cooperative and there was no action taken by APD.”

Though Cini is banned from Disney’s properties, will he strike again? That ban obviously didn’t stop him from popping up at Disneyland on Wednesday to make his political statement.

He has 266 followers on Twitter as of this writing. Cini describes himself as a “Guerilla Marketeer.”

After being kicked out of Disney World in November, Cini said, “Disney has lost all its magic. The whole entity is a political extension of the left. The magic is gone.”
