Attorney General Jeff Sessions is not in the good graces of President Trump.
Despite being the first Republican senator to endorse Trump during the contentious GOP primary, and despite once being one of the Senate’s only champions of border control and strict law enforcement, Sessions has found himself on the outs with the president in recent days.

Trump has expressed regret for hiring Sessions as Attorney General following his recusal from the Russian investigation. The president recently told the Wall Street Journal, “I’m very disappointed in Jeff Sessions.” And then there are the tweets from this morning:
Why didn't A.G. Sessions replace Acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe, a Comey friend who was in charge of Clinton investigation but got….

With this kind of criticism, it’s rumored that Sessions is considering resigning from his post. And can you blame him? Despite being a key Trump ally during the campaign, the Attorney General is being trashed by his boss in public.
Rep. Trey Gowdy has weighed in on the issue. He says that if he were Sessions, he wouldn’t stay in the current office. Take a look:
“I would not stay if my employer had lost confidence in me,” the South Carolina Republican admitted, adding that the “public squabbling” is “heartbreaking” for him.
“On the other hand, Attorney General Sessions may believe that he is doing the job in the way that he is supposed to,” he added. “He doesn’t work for the President, he works for a blindfolded woman holding a set of scales. So he’s got to make that call.”

As a former prosecutor, Gowdy knows that politics is a nasty business. You have to have thick skin and keen insight to make it in the political world. And you have to have the support of your friends as you battle the partisan forces that seek to tear you down.

Sessions would be in a better position to fight had he not recused himself from the Russia investigation. Now it looks like his days as AG are numbered.

Sessions is too weak. He’s not a fighter. Trump needs an army of warriors and heroes that step up without fear. The Gorka’s, The Scaramucci’s, The Sarah Huckabees…. PERIOD!
Trump is just frustrated Sessions needs to go talk with him and let him know why he had to recuse himself and let him know that he still has his back in all other matters
The reason the President is trashing the Attorney General in public is because the Attorney General remained unresponsive to the private criticism the President delivered. Jeff won’t fight. And the mistakes have continued. He is Trump’s George McClelland.
Sessions is not in good graces because he won’t end the investigation into trump’s TREASON. Of course we don’t actually NEEDS an investigation to know trump is guilty of treason and deserves to be put to death for his crimes. This is about trump whining because he has gotten caught in his criminal actions and this time WE THE PEOPLE are not going to let him forget it for one second. He can’t bribe his way out of this mess, as he is used to doing, and that is why he acts like a fish out of water, spastic, and gasping for anything that will distract the attention of America away from trump’s innate criminal nature.
What treason?
I hope you’re not actually expecting an answer from this deviant. He posts like CNN and BSNBC ‘reports’…drops propaganda bombs and flys away.
Sounds to me like you are describing the Democratic party along with almost all the people on the left.
Excuse You You Must Have Trump Confused With Killary or Obamatard They are the Ones that Committed Treason not Trump Get Your Facts Straight Because Right Now You Have Made Yourself Look Stupid
It was a giant disappointment that the honorable Jeff Sessions excused himself from the phony George Soros “Russian investigation” All politicians deal with foreign countries. Hillary has done so illegally, profiting greatly. The logical result was that President Trump and informed Americans are dismayed. Sessions appears to be a good man and with an influential speaking voice. What is this talk about the Hillary Clinton connection? We hope it is not true!
Look…we the good, family loving American people came out in droves to vote for President Trump because we wanted to seeObama/Clinton corruption OVER! We wanted to see that swamp DRAINED. The evil Global Elite and their lap dog FAKE NEWS whores are piling it on daily. President Trump knows that he MUST have time on his side and move quickly otherwise he will continually stay on the defensive. Get rid of ANY Obama/Clinton cronies IMMEDIATELY! Ryan too please!
Yes! Get rid of them all. Drain the swamp which has been amended to sewer. And get rid of Snake in the Grass Ryan!
Trey Gowdy did absolutely nothing when he questioned Hillary Clinton during the Benghazi hearings. He’s another fraud RINO like Lindsey Graham who works for the Zionist Jews rather than Americans.
I think Sessions thought it best to not look like he personally was biased in this witch hunt that is going on, but I think it has backfired. He does not really work for the president, but he should have talked this over with the president first. He would have been better off had he made sure this investigation was done in a non partisan way, Just look at what we have investigating now, a Clinton crony. I think Sessions is a good man and served in Congress as honorable as he could. It is to bad he made this mistake.
Maybe you missed it. Gowdy said, “He doesn’t work for the President, he works for a blindfolded woman holding a set of scales.”
Both Trump and a lot of his supporters are ignorant of that point of law.
As someone who loves Jeff Sessions and wishes that President Trump would knock of attacking him in public and work it out with him face-to-face, as well as someone who respects his conservative defenders, we are still left with the ripple-effects of his unfortunate decision to recuse himself, are we not?
At the heart of Trump’s angst, in my opinion, and feeling of unfairness, is the failure of Jeff Sessions to investigate the clear cases of lawbreaking under the Obama administration, after watching the corrupt Attorney Generals Eric Holder and Loretta Lynch protecting Barack Obama and Crooked Hillary from 8 years of serious, often fatal, scandals without the national outrage we are seeing against Trump expressing his displeasure.
The other thing that everyone is missing is that he real bad bad guy at the DOJ is not Jeff Sessions but Rod Rosenstein who appointed Robert Mueller for no useful reason..
While Sessions’ decision to recuse himself was based on a level of honesty and legal ethics we did not see at the DOJ under Obama, what Rod Rosenstein egregiously did is not as easily defensible.
I wish Trump would pay closer attention to what Rod Rosenstein did, and I wish other serious conservatives would pay more attention to what Robert Mueller is doing, and the massive conflicts of interest therein, which could divide the country beyond anything Barack Obama did and could lead to a Constitutional crisis.
Trump basically gets things done and the Washington bunch including Sessions are not very results oriented. They spend too much time in meetgs and contemplating their navals. I.m a business owner and have the same mentality. People who don’t get things done in a timely fashion make me crazy!
I was disappointed. I believe he is fair man, correct and loyal, and apply the Law in a very strict manner. But, in a today’s world, when you are surended by HIENS, who are ready to eat you alive, you have no choise then, , fight with the same arms. Today’s world has no principles the crooks will destroy you. In a clean and fair world, his decision would be as expected. But, not in this world, where right has no meaning, love for country, eighter. This is the liers , cheaters, politically correect world. Honesty, correctness, has no place.AG. Session is an honest, patriot.. I feel very sorry for him. I think, no matter what will happen, people the honest ones, will continue to respect him.
I agree! He “tried” to deflate matters but it has wound up being a mistake. The fact is, there is NO appeasing the Democrats! THEY WANT CONTROL! I think Sessions may be too nice. If he’s NOT then he needs to unrecuse himself. If he can’t take the heat, then he needs to hand in his resignation!
In this INSANE TIME, we need a TOUGH, NO NONSENSE AG who can plow straight through all the bull and DO the job that MUST BE DONE!
Yes, he’s been a staunch supporter and I’m not trying to belittle the man but…he needs to ACT NOW…one way or the other.
I respect Sessions but he needs to be more enforceable on the crimes that have obviously been committed, and Russia isn’t one. We have the illegal wiretapping we have the Pay to Play, We have the Child trafficking, We have the leaks, We still haven’t had the E-mails candle resolved. The Clinton Foundation receiving foreign donations funding Hillary Clintons Campaign. We have Treason with giving aid to our enemies and funding with taxpayers money. We have millions of dollars given for our hostages, the release of terrorist that were put back into power to conduct more terrorist crimes against the USA. There are more crimes in our politicians. Get rich schemes.
I Agree Sessions Needs to Get His A@@ in Gear and His Staff Moving
Yes President Trump, drain the swamp, what are you waiting for? Get rid of Sessions, he is a hindrance to getting any real work done!
