Democrat Rashida Tlaib’s Heavily-Muslim District Holding Pro-Palestine Rally To Celebrate ‘Our Martyrs’ After Terrorist Attacks On Israel

A group recently photographed alongside far-left “Squad” member Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) is planning a pro-Palestine rally on Saturday in the wake of the Hamas terror attacks that have claimed the lives of over 1,200 people thus far, including at least 14 Americans.

The rally, according to a Facebook post from a group known as the Handala Coalition, will be held in Ford Woods Park in Dearborn, Michigan.

“We call on our community to join us in honoring our martyrs and the struggle of our people against the colonizer,” the announcement reads.

“It is our duty to echo the calls for liberation of our homeland and our people, from the river to the sea,” the group adds. “Long live Palestine, long live the resistance, victory is ours.”

The phrase “river to the sea”, which Tlaib herself has promoted in the past, is described by StopAntiSemitism.org as a “code for eradicating the State of Israel and its millions of Jews.”

The event celebrating Hamas “martyrs” will be held in Tlaib’s district, which includes Dearborn, the home to the largest American Muslim population per capita, as well as the largest mosque in North America.

The city already saw a massive rally in support of Palestine earlier this week.

Tlaib Attended Art Show With Group Hosting Rally To Support Palestine Terrorists

Rep. Tlaib, just over four months ago, was photographed alongside organizers of an art show advocating for Israel’s destruction and promoting works from known terrorists.

The art show, like Saturday’s rally, was hosted by the Handala Coalition. Tlaib can be seen in images on the group’s Facebook page posing with organizers and attendees in the gallery, which featured artwork depicting slogans used by terrorist organizations — “Power To Our Freedom Fighters, Glory To Our Martyrs” and “Zionism will fall,” among others.

The gallery even featured artwork from a former spokesman of the “Palestinian Islamic Jihad,” a U.S.-designated terrorist group known for conducting suicide bombings.

The group claims to have taken part in the Israeli attacks and captured 30 hostages themselves.

While the district represented by Tlaib will be hosting a rally celebrating Palestine and the Hamas terrorist attacks against Israeli and American civilians, the crazy is even too much for her fellow “Squad” member Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), who slammed a similar pro-Palestine rally in Times Square.

“It should not be hard to shut down hatred and antisemitism where we see it. That is a core tenet of solidarity,” she said. “The bigotry and callousness expressed in Times Square on Sunday were unacceptable and harmful in this devastating moment.”

Good to see Ocasio-Cortez draw the line at genocide, especially considering her own past incendiary anti-Israel remarks.

“Jewish people have been persecuted throughout all of human history, but I don’t think that by marginalizing Palestinians, you create safety,” she said during an appearance on the hip-hop program “Ebro in the Morning” back in 2019.

“I believe that injustice is a threat to the safety of all people, because once you have a group that is marginalized and marginalized and marginalized — once someone doesn’t have access to clean water, they have no choice but to riot, right?” she added.

Justifying riots at the Capitol? Bad. Justifying riots in Israel? Good.

And the Hamas terrorists rioted alright.

Tlaib, meanwhile, also has a well-documented history of anti-Semitism chronicled here at The Political Insider. Most recently, she referred to Israel on social media as an “apartheid state” that was “born out of violence and the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians.”

Prior to that, Tlaib promoted a book by another radical, Linda Sarsour, while sporting a t-shirt that critics claimed tried to erase Israel off the map.

The shirt featured an image depicting the “state of Palestine” where Israel would be located.

Also fleshing out her anti-Semite resume:

  • Tlaib said thinking of the Holocaust provides her a “calming feeling” because afterward, Palestinians provided “a safe haven for Jews.”
  • Accused pro-Israel advocates of having dual loyalty.
  • Has a long history of being accused of associating with and/or praising terrorists.
  • Supports the BDS movement and posed for photos with a campaign fundraiser who promoted anti-Semitic conspiracy theories.

The only question we have is: Do you think she’ll go to the pro-Palestine rally in her district?

Now is the time to support and share the sources you trust.
