Does Sen. Tim Kaine have a crush on Elizabeth “Pocahontas” Warren?
Watching this segment of Sunday morning’s “Face The Nation” featuring Hillary Clinton’s former running mate was just pitiful. Kaine seriously thinks a statue of Pocahontas should replace Gen. Robert E. Lee’s statue in the U.S. Capitol because without her, “we wouldn’t even be here.”

Sen. Tim Kaine (D-VA) suggested that Virginia replace the Robert E. Lee statue in the U.S. Capitol with a statue of Pocahontas in an appearance on CBS’s “Face the Nation” on Sunday.
Each state picks two statues to represent its history, and those statues are displayed inside the U.S. Capitol building. Virginia has chosen George Washington and Robert E. Lee to represent its state.
Kaine said he disagreed with the choice of Lee.
“Why wouldn’t you think about Pocahontas?” Kaine asked, saying that without her actions, “we wouldn’t even be here.”
Here’s another idea: How about replacing the statue of Sen. Robert “KKK” Byrd with Pocahontas instead? Sometimes you just can’t believe the things that come from the mouths of those elected to serve. You have to ask yourself: Did these representatives really graduate from high school? Are they really that intelligent?
Just think, these Democrats and Republicans have been on this earth all these years and never had a second thought about the statues. And now they want to remove them to make themselves feel better?
Something just doesn’t smell right about all of this.
Here’s a word of advice: No matter how many statues you take down, no matter how many flags you remove, the Democrat Party will still have their racist roots. They will always be known as the party that lynched blacks. They will always be associated with creating Jim Crow laws and oppression. That will never change.
Hey, Elizabeth Warren, Kaine didn’t mean you, so you can stop clapping. You aren’t getting a statue of yourself any time soon.
