Whoa! Ted Cruz Is So Confident He Will Win, He Just Did THIS

Ted Cruz

While the Republican presidential campaign between Ted Cruz and Donald Trump has gotten downright nasty at times, there are some signs that the two are putting the past behind them.

Melania Trump, for example, has advised her husband to “stay away from re-tweets,” referencing the social media platform that tends to get him in the most trouble with Cruz.

But there’s also signs from Cruz that he’s had enough of the nonsense and is set to move on. He told Megyn Kelly during an hour-long interview that “I don’t care what he says anymore.”

“To be honest, it’s gotten to the point, as this campaign’s gone on, the silliness, the personal attacks, the nastiness, the cursing from Donald,” Cruz explained, “My reaction is, ‘Who cares?’”

“I don’t care what he tweets. What I’m focused on is how do we solve the real problems of this country, America’s real challenges.”

Cruz seems to be focused on the General Election – he said he’s not looking for an apology from Trump, but rather, from President Obama and Hillary Clinton for doing such an immense amount of damage to the American people in the last eight years.

Cruz also said that he doesn’t care about getting an apology from Trump, but wants one from President Obama and Hillary Clinton “to the millions of people who are suffering right now,” including he said, the single mothers who’ve seen a cutback in their hours resulting from Obamacare.

Cruz then went on to blast the intolerant left for their attempts to shut down the First Amendment rights of Christians in America today.

“You have the right not to participate. But you don’t have the right to silence everybody else. The First Amendment protects the religious liberty of Christians, of Jews, of Muslims, of atheists. Every one of us, we have a right to seek out and worship God, to live according to our own faith and conscience.”

He added that no one is more intolerant than a leftist who says “don’t you dare say Jesus around me,” drawing a huge applause from the crowd, and said that he favors a “live and let live” approach.
