A tweet from Shannon Bream, host of the prime-time show “Fox News @ Night,” asking for help granting a dying 11-year-old child’s final wish went viral. “Need your help Twitterverse – trying to help a young boy who is dying. He probably has just days and all he wants is a greeting from one of the Avengers. If you have a celeb connection, please let me know. Otherwise, could you help out with a RT? Thank you in advance!” she wrote in a tweet that has been shared and liked over 70,000 times (as of writing).

Millions saw the tweet – including her target audience.
That same day, within hours, a handful of actors from the entire Marvel universe replied. Chris Evans (who plays Captain America), Chloe Bennet (Daisy Johnson), Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool), Paul Bettany (Vision), Benedict Wong (Doctor Strange), Don Cheadle (War Machine), and Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye) all offered to meet the sick boy. CNN’s Jake Tapper and other media figures/celebrities also replied offering to help aid Bream’s request. It didn’t matter if they were an “Avenger” or not, they all wanted to help.
Avengers actors Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlet Witch) and Paul Rudd (Ant-Man) said that they’ll personally be sending videos to the boy.
I’m more of a “Reserve Avenger”. But happy to help. DM me.

According to Fox News, it was the terminally ill child’s uncle who reached out to Bream. “The boy’s uncle later reached out to Bream, saying his nephew was a huge fan of the Avengers. He asked if it would be possible to have an actor who plays one of the superheroes to send him a video.”
Overwhelmed by the response, Bream thanked her Twitter audience, whom she credited with her tweet’s success. According to Bream, several Avengers have already reached out to the child and others are planning to reach out soon.
Yesterday my pastor preached about praying for things so big only God could do it – nothing w/i our human ability. Just after that, I got this request. I don't know Hollywood people, so I sent the tweet with a prayer. 8 celebs so far. I can't take any credit – that's the pt 🙏 https://t.co/lEM94eyEWE

As tense as political tensions are nowadays, it’s refreshing to see how much good there still is in people’s hearts.
