Sean Hannity Addresses Claim of Being a Michael Cohen Client

Sean Hannity has a lot of explaining to do.

After yesterday’s bombshell revelation that he’s the mysterious third client of Trump’s personal lawyer and well-known fixer Michael Cohen, the popular Fox News show host will have to answer for why he employed the services of an attorney specializing in hush-money cases.

Immediately after the news broke, Hannity took to Twitter to explain himself:

He later addressed the matter on his own show, where he laid bare the entire relationship with Cohen. Here is some of what Hannity said, via the Daily Caller:

“Am I surprised by any of this? No, of course not, because this is with the media in this country does,” Hannity said. “Let me set the record straight. Here’s the truth. Michael Cohen never represented me in any legal matter. I never retained his services. I never received an invoice.”

“I never paid Michael Cohen for legal fees. I did have occasional brief conversations with Michael Cohen, he’s a great attorney, about legal questions I had, where I was looking for input and perspective. My discussions with Michael Cohen never rose to any level that I needed to tell anyone that I was asking him questions. And to be absolutely clear, they never involved any matter, any — sorry to disappoint so many — matter between me, a third party, a third group at all.”

That clears things up a bit. Let’s hope Hannity isn’t hiding anything else in all this strange business.
