Last weekend, Best Buy added themselves to the list of employers shelling out raises to their employees. The nation’s largest consumer electronics retailer says it will be granting bonuses to more than 100,000 employees.

The bonuses will be $1,000 for full-time employees, and $500 for part time employees.

In total, over three million American workers have gotten a bonus attributable to tax reformand that doesn’t include employees who’ve seen boosts in wages resulting from the tax law.

A number of financial institutions have also decided to raise their starting minimum wage to $15-an-hour, for instance, thus granting a $15 minimum wage to more people than Bernie Sanders ever will. Democrats have shot themselves in the foot and tried to complain that the bonuses aren’t enough – which is a bizarre take for a party that used to claim to represent the working class.

Nancy Pelosi’s claim that $1,000 bonuses are only “crumbs” will prove problematic for Democrats in 2018 congressional races when the clip is played back to them over countless election ads. And now White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders is throwing Pelosi’s claim right back in her face.

According to the Daily Caller, “White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders celebrated on Saturday the 100,000 Best Buy employees getting bonuses as a result of President Trump’s tax cuts — and took a chainsaw to Nancy Pelosi’s rhetoric in the process.”

More from the report:

However, Democratic Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi has dismissed post-tax cut bonuses — some of which were up to $2000-$3000 — as “crumbs.”

“A number of bonuses–one of the bonuses was in a union contract and then they added a little more money to that. That same firm just told the employees they were going to be laying off 1,500 people and if they wanted to save their jobs, they could work 32 hours,” she said.

Trump’s approval has been increasing since workers have been seeing bigger paychecks. Prior to the passage of tax reform, many Americans believed the media lie that only the wealthy would benefit from the bill.

Now that Americans are experiencing fatter wallets, they love the tax bill. The only people eating crumbs are those who trusted in Nancy Pelosi.
