A report went viral recently noting that Trump White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders is one of the most admired women in America.
Now, the popular fact-checking website Snopes has confirmed the claim is “true.”
As Snopes reports, America loves Sarah:
This is true. In April 2018, the UK-based polling firm YouGov published the results of its “World’s Most Admired” survey. Respondents in the United States ranked Huckabee Sanders the ninth most admired woman in the world. (You can view the United States’ rankings by choosing “USA” from the drop-down list of countries.)
YouGov also noted that First Lady Melania Trump is also greatly admired.
While Sarah Huckabee Sanders is a busy mother, she’s also one tough press secretary. Every day, she enters into the lion’s den and faces off against endless questions from a biased media that desperately wants President Donald J. Trump impeached and removed from office.
Recently, Sanders compared CNN’s White House reporter Jim Acosta to her children, noting that being a mother has taught her how to deal with winey reporters who repeat questions and need their tone adjusted. However, we have no doubt Sanders’ children have much better manners than Acosta.
Sanders has also taken direct aim at White House leakers, who have shamelessly leaked internal staff discussions that were not meant for public distribution. These staffers, for whatever reason, are holding a grudge against others and are making it harder for the Trump White House to do their job. Sanders has promised firings and major staff changes, as the administration continues to clean up leaks.
Clearly, Sanders should be admired. She’s willing to be mocked and insulted, as the left doesn’t want to see a well-spoken woman and mother defend Trump’s conservative agenda. She sets an example for young women, is a role model, and is reminding women that the Republican Party’s platform empowers women in tremendous ways.
