Bernie Sanders’ Wife Is Under FBI Investigation For Fraud

If the Democrat primary were still underway, both candidates would be tied to one FBI investigation or another.

It was reported back in April that it was possible the Sanders were under or were going to be under federal investigation for a scandal pertaining to Jane Sanders’ role as President of Burlington College in Vermont – a college that went bankrupt.

Jane O’Meara Sanders served as president of Burlington College between 2004 and 2011, and attempted to aggressively expand student enrollment. Much like her husband, her plan involved a massive amount of spending, in the form of a $10 million purchase of 32 acres of property at the end of 2010. The property ended up committing to between $1.5 million and $2 million in operating losses for the college (in addition to the $10 million they paid for it). Even worse, however, it’s been alleged that Sanders used falsified information when applying for the loan, misrepresenting the amount of money the college had been bringing in from donations.

Now, it’s been confirmed that she’s under investigation.

The Department of Justice and the FBI will not confirm the existence of an investigation, but recent interviews conducted by officials from the FBI and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), independently confirmed to TheDCNF, suggest an investigation is ongoing.

The federal probe is allegedly weighing on Sen. Sanders’ decision whether or not to run for president in 2020.

Carol Moore, who served as the final president of the college from 2014 until its closure in May 2016, places blame for the bankruptcy squarely on Jane Sanders. Moore confirmed to TheDCNF in May the FBI contacted her as recently as a month ago regarding the allegations.

Hilariously, Jane’s crime is running a college as fiscally irresponsible as her husband wanted to run this country. We sure dodged a bullet with that one.

Should The Sanders go to jail? share your thoughts.
