The Democrat and liberal media Russian conspiracy theory about the 2016 presidential election has been fascinating – and infuriating – to watch.
Here’s a quick timeline: First, Donald Trump talked about how the election was rigged against anti-establishment, outsider candidates by the establishments of both major political parties.
Then, the entire media, Hillary Clinton, and far-left extremists like Senator Elizabeth Warren had a total meltdown, claiming that the election wasn’t rigged:
“He knows he’s losing and is trying to blame that on the system,” Clinton campaign manager Robby Mook said in a conference call with reporters.
“That is what losers do. We’re not even going to give it any credit by amplifying it. It’s not true. The system is not rigged. This is probably going to be the easiest, most accessible election in our history.”
Then of course, after Donald Trump destroyed Hillary Clinton in an election for the ages, the Democrats and media all of a sudden started spewing the conspiracy theory that Russia “rigged the election” and helped Donald Trump win.
There has been no evidence of that conspiracy theory. But now, we’re learning about a REAL conspiracy, one that goes all the way to the top and is unprecedented: the Obama administration spying on his political opponent Donald Trump.
Reports indicate that Obama’s National Security Advisor Susan Rice was involved in “unmasking” members of the Trump campaign.
Now, radio legend and conservative hero Rush Limbaugh noticed something no one else noticed. This explains everything:
So instead they’re saying it’s a distraction because Rice didn’t do anything illegal. Except she did if she asked for this information without it being part of an investigation. And here’s something very important to remember, folks. The White House cannot do investigations.
The White House does not do investigations. The FBI investigates. The CIA investigates. The NSA investigates. But the White House does not investigate. So if the White House is investigating, something’s already very wrong. All the White House does — and the FBI director James Comey even admitted this in the most recent round of congressional hearings. He said the White House is a consumer of what we do, meaning the White House would consume the results, the analysis, and the data of investigations they conduct.
The White House does not do investigations. And if the White House is doing investigations, it’s not because they’re looking into criminal things. It’s because they are engaged in political activity. The White House is not an investigative agency of the federal government. It is not. There are other elements of the executive branch that do investigations.
Rice and the liberal media claim that she didn’t do anything illegal, but as Rush points out, she may have, if her own cover story is true!
Americans of a certain age will remember that they took down President Nixon over a hilariously bungled theft, stealing phone records from Democrats before an election in which Nixon won 49 states!
This is unprecedented and dangerous. If the Obama administration was using the official apparatus of our nation’s defense in order to attack a political opponent, there should be hell to pay for everyone involved.
