As expected, the U.S. Department of State is pushing back on a new wave of rumors that Secretary of State Rex Tillerson is planning to resign.

Those rumors include how Tillerson is not happy about how Attorney General Jeff Sessions is being treated by President Trump. CNN reported that Tillerson is expressing growing frustration with the Trump Administration.

Of course, leave it to “fake news” CNN to start rumors over more turmoil in the Trump Administration.

The problem is, CNN has a platform where many people might not watch, but they will hear this kind of reporting and start to panic even if it’s not true. That’s why it’s best to always wait a few hours before repeating these rumors so you have the real truth to share with the people.

Despite rumors to the contrary, State Department spokesperson Heather Nauert said that Secretary of State Rex Tillerson has no intention of resigning, calling those reports “false.”

“[Tillerson] intends to stay here at the State Department,” Nauert said. “We have a lot of work that is left to be done ahead of us.”

“Everyone loves to report on palace intrigue stories,” she added. “The secretary is committed to staying, and I’ll leave it at that.”

Anonymous sources told CNN that Tillerson is considering resigning before the end of the year.

However, last night Circa reported that Tillerson is taking time off:

A State Department spokeswoman on Tuesday said Secretary of State Rex Tillerson is “taking a little time off.”

“[He] does have the ability to go away for a few days on his own,” Heather Nauert told reporters, according to Business Insider.

“[He’s] just taking a little time off,” she added. “He’s got a lot of work. He just came back from that mega-trip overseas, as you all well know – many of you were over there with the G-20.”

Nauert added she did not know the standard protocol for listing private days when asked why she did not just say Tillerson is on vacation.

Here is Heather shooting down the rumors of Tillerson’s resignation:

Here’s my issue with Tillerson leaving right now: President Trump is being attacked by his enemies every day and he needs his team for support. That includes Tillerson.
