As you are well aware, yesterday a gunman opened fire on Republican lawmakers and their staff as they practiced for a charity baseball game.
We know for a fact that the shooter targeted the lawmakers for the sole season that they were Republicans. Rep. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) confirmed this when he left early right before the shooting and spoke to a man who later turned out to be the gunman. “There was a guy that walked up to us that was asking whether it was Republicans or Democrats out there,” DeSantis said. “It was just a little odd, and then he kind of walked toward the area where all this happened.”
The shooter’s Facebook posts (which you can find here) also revealed a solid left-wing political bent, including posts about how Trump and his associates needed to be “taken out.”
Miraculously, the only death was the shooter. However, House Majority Whip Steve Scalise was shot and is in critical condition. The shooter had posted a political cartoon criticizing Scalise to his Facebook page in 2015.
While the attacks have been rightly condemned by those in office, Congressional Republicans are receiving even more threats in the wake of the attack…
The office of Rep. Claudia Tenney (R-N.Y.) received a threatening email with the subject line “One down, 216 to go…,” shortly after a shooter opened fire on GOP lawmakers who were at a congressional baseball practice, according to her office.
The person who sent the email then wrote in the body of the email, “Did you NOT expect this?”
“Did you NOT expect this? When you take away ordinary peoples very lives in order to pay off the wealthiest among us, your own lives are forfeit. Certainly, your souls and morality were lost long before. Good riddance,” the email said.
Tenney spokeswoman Hannah Andrews said their office regularly receives emails like this, but the timing of this message was “particularly disheartening following this morning’s tragic events.”

Is this really surprising? We know leftists across the country relished in Republicans being fired upon. Many took to Twitter to actually blame Scalise’s pro-gun record for the shooting. And here I thought liberals were against blaming the victim!

Not only is the left crying crocodile tears over the shooting, they are showing zero remorse for their heated rhetoric that directly led to this attempted mass killing. To its eternal disgrace, the New York Times had the gall to deny the shooting had anything to do with the left’s violent rhetoric, while also blaming conservatives for the shooting of Rep. Giffords over 5 years ago:
NY Times is kinda meh about tying political climate to today's mass shooting

With all this rage boiling in the mainstream media, it only makes sense that Republican lawmakers continue to be threatened. How many more Republicans need to take a bullet before liberals realize the kind of anarchy they’re foisting upon the country?
Well, so much for it being Donald Trump’s rhetoric that inspires violence. Who knew that “Love Trumps Hate” would be so violent?
Do you think liberals have finally crossed a line with their disgusting reaction to the Scalise shooting? Let us know in the comments section below!
