On Thursday, White House press secretary Jen Psaki blasted House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy for his criticism of the Biden administration’s handling of America’s current supply chain problems, while insisting the economy was doing great.
Yesterday, McCarthy took the Biden team to task for spending all their time trying to spend trillions of dollars while the economy falters.
Psaki wasn’t happy about it.
Mr. President, it’s time for you to reevaluate your priorities.
We must address our supply chain and ports crisis before Congress considers any additional social spending and taxation legislation.

Psaki Claims Economy Doing Just Great
That’s when Psaki jumped in.
“Let’s do facts instead,” she replied. “Job growth is up 10x over the end of the Trump-McCarthy economy, UI claims are down 60%+, and 5m more people are back to work.”
Psaki also said that if the GOP leader truly wanted to do something that might help the economy he would get behind the Democrats’ massive spending bill.
Psaki said McCarthy should “support our bill to invest in ports, roads, bridges, and jobs.”

There have been major supply chain issues and worker depletion due mostly to issues associated with the coronavirus pandemic that made 2020 such a unique years in U.S. history.
On Sunday, Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg claimed that the reason for the supply chain crunch is because there is such a high demand for certain goods and services because Biden has done such a good job with the economy.
Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg says supply chain disruptions will "continue into next year."

“And if you think about those images of ships, for example, waiting at anchor on the West Coast – every one of those ships is full of record amounts of goods that Americans are buying because demand is up, because income is up, because the president has successfully guided this economy out of the teeth of a terrifying recession,” Buttigieg insisted.
