President Trump floated the idea that rioters in Democrat-controlled cities are being funded by “some very stupid rich people,” going so far as to suggest there is an ongoing investigation into various attacks that took place outside the Republican National Convention.
In an interview with Fox News personality Laura Ingraham, the President referenced the RNC attacks which included Senator Rand Paul and black Democrat Trump-supporter Vernon Davis being harassed and accosted in the streets outside the White House.
Trump claimed that an unnamed RNC attendee traveling to Washington had witnessed “thugs wearing these dark uniforms, black uniforms with gear and this and that” on a plane from out of town.
“This person was coming to the Republican National Convention and there were like seven people in the plane [with] this person, and then a lot of people were on the plane to do big damage,” he relayed. “This is all happening.”

Under Investigation
The President declined to go much further with comments about these alleged thugs, claiming it is “under investigation right now.”
Naturally, the media scoffed at such an assertion, with NBC News and the Washington Post adding the disclaimer “without evidence,” a phrase used exclusively in describing things that he says and not his Democrat opponents.
That said, Homeland Security Secretary Chad Wolf has supported the argument that an investigation is indeed underway.
The Department of Justice, according to Wolf, has launched an investigation into who is funding violent riots in Democrat-controlled cities, and that they are “targeting and investigating the head of these organizations, [and] the individuals that are paying for these individuals to move across the country.”
Suddenly, shadowy figures being flown in to harass the RNC doesn’t seem so far-fetched.

Outside Influence
President Trump may be referencing information he is privy to from DHS or the DOJ, or he may simply be openly wondering what is going on.
And it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to understand something is going on.
For instance, of the 175 people arrested for offenses related to protests and civil unrest in Kenosha, Wisconsin, less than 42 percent were actually from that city.

Trump moved on by explaining where he believes the funding for these riots is coming from.
“The money is coming from some very stupid rich people [who] have no idea that if their thing ever succeeded, which it won’t, they will be thrown to the wolves like you’ve never seen before,” he told Ingraham.
He reminded viewers that these riots happening in Democrat cities are what you’ll continue to see in Joe Biden’s America.
