Political Commentators Are Buzzing: Hillary May Be Democrats Best Hope In 2024

A Hillary Clinton resurgence in 2024 remains a possibility, especially with a Democrat field littered with unpopular candidates, according to a pair of political commentators.

A Hillary Clinton resurgence in 2024 remains a possibility, especially with a Democrat field littered with unpopular candidates, according to some political commentators.

Joe Concha, a contributor to The Hill and Fox News, as well as former Fox anchor Bill O’Reilly, have both discussed the possibility at length in recent days.

What’s more frightening? Their arguments are quite plausible.

“Hillary Clinton always seemed to believe the mantle of ‘First Female President’ was her birthright,” Concha writes for The Hill.

“And given how pathetic the field is on the Democratic side with or without Joe Biden, she may just get a second chance at winning the office her husband so famously made infamous,” he added.

Of course, it would be her third chance. She lost in 2008 and 2016 already.

Hillary Clinton 2024?

Former Fox News host Bill O’Reilly added to the speculation in a recent interview with NewsNation.

O’Reilly believes Clinton is champing at the bit to get a rematch with former President Donald Trump.

“Hillary Clinton wants the nomination. She knows the Biden administration is falling apart, which is why you’re seeing her surface right now,” he said earlier this week.

“So it could be a replay. But voters make up their own mind.”

Former Trump adviser Jason Miller seemingly concurs, warning Clinton is attempting to “inject” herself into the 2024 presidential race.

“Hillary’s trying to humanize herself and inject herself into the 2024 presidential discussion. That’s all it is,” he surmised. “Let’s just be brutally crass and direct about it.”

Reading The Signs

It’s fairly easy to see why some right-leaning analysts might be predicting another Hillary Clinton run in 2024.

She’s currently giving off more signs than a trashcan in the Houston Astros dugout.

Clinton, in an interview with ABC News’ “Good Morning America” this past October, said she will “never be out of the game of politics.”

Just this past weekend she warned that Trump winning back the White House in 2024, which recent polls seem to indicate is a possibility, would mean the “end of democracy.”

And who better to defend Democracy than the woman who pretended she was cheated out of her 2016 election coronation?

“Not to be too pointed about it, but I want people to understand that this is a make-or-break point,” Clinton said in an interview on NBC’s “Today.”

“If he or someone of his ilk were once again to be elected president, and if especially if he had a Congress that would do his bidding, you will not recognize our country.”

Perhaps nothing sparked more speculation than Hillary’s cringeworthy teary-eyed reading of the 2016 victory speech she was never able to deliver.

It isn’t simply the signs that Hillary wants in, it’s the current political playing field for the Democrat Party.

President Biden is wildly unpopular and increasingly less capable of putting full sentences together when he speaks. Vice President Kamala Harris is even more unpopular and about as real as the story she once told about “fweedom.”

Who else is there? Bernie Sanders – a curmudgeon and retread from the scrap heap? Pete Buttigieg – Having all the charisma of an ear of corn? Elizabeth Warren who likely refers to corn as ‘maize’?

In fact, a recent poll shows Democrat voters are so desperate for something else that former First Lady Michelle Obama is their top choice.

But even then, Obama has consistently said she will not run for President.

“Just between us, and the readers of this magazine — there’s zero chance,” Mrs. Obama replied when asked of the possibility in an interview with Amtrak Magazine’s ‘The National’.

Enter Hillary Clinton, the youthful(?) alternative to a Biden re-election in 2024.

“If those are the options, why not Hillary?” Concha writes. “She’s 74 years old, which is like being bathed in the fountain of youth compared to Biden.”

Thanks for that visual, Joe.

“She’s still stunned — five years later — that she actually lost to Donald Trump,” he adds.

In her mind, she must correct the injustice that was done to her.
