Now this is how you win with class.
Last night, the Philadelphia Eagles won their first Super Bowl in the franchise’s history, beating the New England Patriots 41-33.
It was an epic game, with both teams running up their yard count and the score board all the way up until the last seconds of the fourth quarter.
Upon winning the Lombardi Trophy, Philadelphia head coach Doug Pederson gave some remarks before the crowd.
Now, with how political the NFL has gotten, with players kneeling during the National Anthem to protest President Trump, and with Eagles player already vowing to boycott a visit to the Trump White house, I don’t think anyone expected Pederson to say what he did last night.
Host Dan Patrick asked Pederson the following: “How do you explain this, that nine years ago you’re coaching in high school and here you are with this trophy?”
That’s when the coach shocked the audience by answering, “I can only give the praise to my Lord and savior Jesus Christ for giving me this opportunity.”

That’s amazing! Liberals have tried to make praising Jesus Christ in a public a shameful act. Looks like the Eagles didn’t get the message.
Fans on Twitter were ecstatic over Pederson’s comments:
It was so refreshing to see and hear Coach Pederson giving thanks To Jesus Christ for helping his team with the victory over the Patriots. Something that we at times take for granted. In all circumstances we ought to give thanks.

Wasn’t pulling for the Eagles last night, but to have Nick Foles and Coach Pederson, both give thanks and credit to Jesus Christ, speaks volumes on who they are as people!

Apparently Doug Pederson (Head Coach) is, as well. First thing out if his mouth was a very compelling “Thanks to his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ” … in a very humble and meaningful manner.

Props to Doug Pederson for coaching one heck of a game and for giving the glory and thanks to Jesus Christ afterward👏🏼
