Pelosi Slams Trump And Republicans As ‘Enemies Of The State’ Over Their Opposition To Mail-In Voting

On Monday, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi blasted President Trump and Republican lawmakers, calling them “domestic enemies” and “enemies of the state” because most oppose mail-in voting.

Pelosi told MSNBC’s Ayman Mohyeldin Trump’s constant talk opposing mail-in voting was “scaring” potential voters and that the President actually welcomed Russian interference in the November election.

Pelosi: America’s ‘domestic enemies to our voting system and our honoring of the Constitution are right at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue’

“The Russians were there and they are there now 24/7 trying to interfere in our election, but they’re not the only ones,” Pelosi said. “We take an oath to protect and defend the Constitution from all enemies, foreign and domestic.”

“And sadly, the domestic enemies to our voting system and our honoring of the Constitution are right at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue with their allies in the Congress of the United States,” Pelosi said.

Pelosi encouraged Democrats to “mobilize,” “organize” and not allow the President to “deter anybody from voting.”

‘It’s really actually shameful… Enemies of the state’

“And again, support the postal system, which is Election Central,” Pelosi continued. “They’re doing everything they can [to] suppress the vote with their actions, scare people, intimidate by saying law enforcement will be there, diminish the role of the postal system in all of this.”

“It’s really actually shameful,” Pelosi said. “Enemies of the state.”

Host Mohyeldin could be heard saying word “wow” as Pelosi spoke but did not follow up on her attacks on the White House and GOP.

If you will recall, when President Trump once referred to the American media as “enemy of the state” Democrats and the entire left media went bonkers.
